I don't get this. Did you just trash your incomplete castles? Why would you do that?

ok, that image hurts my soul...

But... SERIOUSLY! BROKEN OR NOT, PLEASE DON'T JUST TOSS THEM AWAY!!!

Some of us here would buy stuff like this for a custom diorama display! As all they would need for that would be a jawbridge, which can also be obtained on evilbay very easily an cheap!

Heck if nothing else, toss em up on ebay dude for $5 + cost of shipping and I am 100% sure they would move if you priced them as "just to move" outter shells!

..don't feel bad. I toss toys away too.

(It should make all others more valuable.)

Ok, let me get this straight... so you throw damages/incomplete vintage toys away; instead of trying to fix them back up or sell them for parts for others; just to help raise costs on all the remaining/existing toys... which in turn would make it that much harder an costly for everyone else who might also want these toys to get them for their own collections?

I had to the same thing with Snake mountain, I have a set on ebay, started the bid at .01 and not one person bid on it. I stripped out the good parts and tossed the snake MT in the garbage.

Now I'm gonna have nightmares for a while.....

NO toy should have to endure something like this.... broken or not.

When I finally finish my stop-motion pirate movie I will likely toss away some of those toys.
..(I bought approximately $4000 in toys so far for animation Its taking a long time to do.)

this is the only way I can adequately convey my response to this thread:

But seriously, a buddy of mine is on the threshold of marriage and a new home. Among his plans for his dedicated mancave of MOTU and other toys, he is going to dedicate one wall to Castle Grayskulls! An entire wall. Just of the front shell of Castle Grayskull.

Don't know if he's quite got the logistics of it figured out, but I know he's up to 7 or 8 playsets already in incomplete, whatever condition he could find at reasonable prices. So, yes, there are people out there who would gladly take these and even pay for them.
    I was going to share!

I threw away clamp champs weapon and ninjors bow and chucks before i started collecting them again. I just forgot who they were for and wanted to clear out my garage. I also threw out most of my Power Lords at the same time which i regret as i have now had to buy them all again off ebay.

When I was building my chessboard I was looking for matching weapons for the pawns, and I bought 'lots' and tossed some stuff out, I don't even remember now what got tossed.

I won't throw away my SDF-1 Macross from 1979 anytime soon.
I use it as the pirate ship in my 'Pirates of Eternia' movie. (one of the more expensive items)
