Favorite amongst the Fighting Foe Men 3-pack?

Pretty simple poll. Now that we're getting these guys in hand, which of the three figures has turned out to be your favorite? Why?

Personally I have to go with Sherrilyn. I was looking forward to her the most, love the head sculpt, and it's nice to have another female in the ranks of the heroic warriors. At least that's where she fits the best in my opinion. Dawg-O-Tor has surprised me though, I'm growing to like him quite a bit. I really don't care for Ditztroyer at all now that he's in-hand, but your mileage will likely vary.

    Dittzy then Dawg....

I don't like Sherilyn much, plus mine has a bobble head, and a few loose arm joints....I hate the head.

Dawg for sure. He looks straight up vintage MOTU, like maybe a lost first or second wave character.

Except for the long hair. They would have kept it short to save money.

Ditz. He's the most easily recognizable of the trio, and has my favourite of the three vehicles to inspire him. Heck next to Spydor the Roton may just be my favourite vehicle of the original line.

I think Dawg looks just amazing, and is probably more interesting, and Sheildy is a girl (I love girl figures) and an interesting design too...

But Ditz I recognized from the boxes and next to "Sky High" windraider pilot was the one I wanted the most because of that fact.

Of course he has the worst name, in as much as I resepct why they are named the way they are, but though I can in my own head be ok with calling them Sheild Maiden and O Dawg, or just Dawg, Ditztroyer is just a mess of a name. I would have prefered Ditz Destroyer.

But he is the leader in my eyes.

I'm really surprised at the totals so far. I had thought that Dawg-O-Tor would have been the early favorite.

Mine have not yet arrived, so I'll officially vote afterward, but at the moment, I think it will be Dawg-O-Tor.

I think it may have more to do with the additional story elements I have cooked up for these three, though, as Ditztroyer and SMS both look cooler to me. I have it where they were wayward warriors from the Great Wars who decided to bring order to the chaos left behind, but who allowed the power they amassed to corrupt them, a development facilitated by the truly evil Ditztroyer's scheming. Meanwhile, DOT and SMS, the brains behind the vehicles and weaponry of the FFM, fell in love and had a child and began to have misgivings about how they terrorized Eternia. Before they could do anything about it, they were frozen, leaving their child behind. This child would be the ancient ancestor of a line of weaponsmiths and scientists which would culminate in the quintessential Man-at-Arms, Duncan! Also, after their freedom and the 2UB, DOT and SMS would turn away from evil (in true Filmation fashion) and turn to good, often allying with the Heroic Warriors against Jitsu and later the Son of Skeletor. Ditztroyer would serve alongside Jitsu and even strike out on his own.

...Just something Ive cooked up, especially sice 2/3 of the FFM don't look terribly villainous.

Anyway, I'll chime in again and vote after my set arrives later this week.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

I like your bio. For me Dawg is just another member of the Heroic Warriors and will stand with them. As you say, he doesn't look like a villain.

To me, Dawg-O-Tor feels like the most "complete" figure of the three. The armor, translucent visor, and large shield really round him out. Ditztroyer seems like he tied a blanket around his neck for a cape and is running around like that shirtless. Sherrilyn's still my favorite, but being half naked seems to make her feel somehow incomplete too.

Same issue with mine as well. I was thinking about swapping out her head for an Adora or She-Ra head but that neck peg is horrible. I really am growing on the idea of having a Force Captain Adora that looks more in line with the original eight than the Filmation look, Sherrilyn's buck with the Horde Emblem is perfect for it!

Ditztroyer is easily my favorite. I like the design and love the color scheme. His name however, is one of the only aspects I dislike about the FFM.

I have Marlena's Space Suit head on her, Adora and She-Ra are too pale skinned compared to Sherrilyn, I tried it, liked BP She-Ra's head on her, but the skin tones were too far off.

I also tried the Red Snake armor from the WP with Teela's helmeted head....looked good too (removing the chest emblem altogether), but her posability was reduced, and the bobble head was too much with all that weight on it. Also she has the stupid long neck peg to boot.

I wish they included the Wind Raider pilot instead of her. Or left her a him.

    My preference is:

    Shield Maiden
    Ditztroyer
    Dawg-a-tor.

My Shield maiden has a bit of a bobble head, but otherwise no real QC issues. I have always thought she looked pretty cool

Ditztroyer comes in second because of his colors, specifically the "orange sherbet" shirt he is wearing. I know it is source material accurate, but it is the most glaring color choices since Tallstar said "blue, orange and red will go great with my pink hair!". However, after painting the orange bits black he looks much better (to me anyway).

Dawg is not bad by any means, but he just seems a bit boring compared to the other two. I am finding myself warming to him though.
It is spelled "Crita", not "Critta". Misspell her name and Crita will knock the "T" out of you!

    Also...get her into the line!

I'm genuinely surprised at the amount of votes Ditztroyer has received! Personally, I think he looks awful. Not the sculpt, though. That, as always, is great! I know the colour choices are based on the vintage artwork, but I mean...c'mon! He could have at least had an orange tunic, ala Preternia Disguise He-Man or Demo-Man. Instead he for some reason has orange skin/spandex covering his torso. >.< The orange boots sticking out from under the green greaves are probably supposed to serve as a way to balance out that orange chest, but they just don't work. On top of that, the Roton emblem doesn't match with anything else on his outfit, and the Horde emblem looks horrible on orange! Speaking of things that don't match, a BROWN loincloth? Why not a blue one to match his cape, or a blue belt and green fur or even an orange cloth skirt?

The above is just my two cents, but yuck! Dunno what the Horsemen were thinking this time around. He's going waaaaay to the back of my display... I love his accessory though!

That said, I totally dig the designs of Dawg-O-Tor and Shield Maiden Sherrilyn! Very MOTU.

The names... Yeah. They are what they are. None of them are very MOTU, but SMS is the most acceptable, given its general "fantasy" sound. The word "Dawg" really shouldn't be anywhere near the franchise, IMO, even if it is part of O'Dawg's nickname. Don't get me started on the other guy... While I respect the people and their contributions to this awesome toy line, someone really could have tried harder on coming up with some decent names!

I got my Dawg-O-Tor today (loose). Super cool in person, very tight joints, love the colors and the paint apps. None more MOTU.

Went with Ditztroyer as my favorite. Shield Maiden Sherrilyn comes in second with Dawg-O-Tor in third. None of them are bad, Dawg's just a bit plainer than the rest to me.

They are all good kit bash figures, they really are. I just never wanted these three.

I voted for Ditzstroyer, but the others are a close second.

And all three have BAD names. I can't accept their names or their bio's. The two good guys joined the Masters in modern era and never joined the Horde. The blue one defected to Horde to follow a woman he is infatuated with. Not sure who that is yet. The Gar has an attractive face and eyes. He needs to be somebody's boyfriend, me thinks. Catra? Shadow Weaver? Or, maybe he is a double agent who is in love with one of the Great Rebellion. He's too melancholy in expression to be totally evil.

Ditztroyer and Dawgotor are both great but I prefer Ditztroyer just a little bit more.

I was expecting more from Sherilyn, but ended up disappointed in her. I like the design and concept, but don't like the implementation.

    1. Talon Pilot -because his buck is so versatile.
    2. Blue Phantom -if only for his face, cowl and cape. So new yet so MOTU.
    3. Valkyra (Battle Armor) -so far just a variant for my BGT.

I actually like Ditztroyer the best as I see him as the Gar Elder and wise man of the group!

As trying to find the right spot in time for these guys: I actually have these guys (and sorry guys brace yourselves for it) as another set of time traveling warriors from Pretenia, who unfortunately were confronted by the Mighty Spector at a pint in time and encased in whatever the actual bio states.

During the Preternia Wars Ditz' and Edlor, along with the Council of Wisdom, realized that the battle between good and evil would go beyond their existences and felt that all knowledge of Eternia and the prophecies could be lost or destroyed. Realizing that the Gar had chosen to remain out of the war, the resentment and hostility towards them would rise and create problems for having one as a member in the Council. Thus Eldor tasked Ditz' for the duty to travel to the future to maintain the balance and preservation of Eternian history and ensure the prophecy would continue. But he would not do this alone, he would form a group of renegades that included Shield Maiden Sherri-Lyn (BRACE YOURSELF) Evil-Lyn's mother (whom the council thought it would be wise to remove her due to her breaching the pact with the Snake Men with Nicholas Powers) and the master of combat / inventor of the talon Fighter... Dawg-O-Tor. Along with the rouge Snake Member The Goddess, they vowed to continue the prophecy at time by any means necessary appearing nor good or evil to many. This led others in the far distant future to believe that these individuals could disrupt their time line and dispatched the Mighty Spector to intercept them. After their initial encounter with Spector in the First Ultimate Battleground, Ditz' dispatched The Goddess on her very own mission to protect the weapons of HE as the FFM would meet Spector head on. as they faced Spector and a Hero of the North they realized that defeating this hero would critically disrupt the time line and attempted to escape in the time traveling Talon Fighter but were thwarted by the Heroes and encased in ice by The Goddess (knowingly accepting her path) to be frozen until Hordak would awaken them and briefly partake in the Second Ultimate Battleground until they once again reacquired the talon Fighter, traveled to the far future where they would find and become mentors to a 'He-Ro' named Dare.

Very loose thumbnail of my idea what to do with the FFM, hope you like it.

Ditztroyer as he's the only one of the three worth having. I managed to get him solo quite cheap as someone had split them up to sell them online.
