MOTUC Warlord ( DC / Remco)

Not my first motuc custom, but my first time posting on this board. I was totally excited to get this guy made. I had the original figure when I was a kid and always thought he belonged in the MOTU universe. Its a simple repaint but did some sculpting to the head to thin it out and make it fir the body.

Wow! I'm surprised at how great that vintage head looks on the MOTUC body. Cool stuff.

    That looks great.
Ask not for whom MOTUC is made, it's made for thee.

If you have to disclaimer your like, then you don't really like it.

It does and it doesn't it requires some modification, shaving, shaping, and sculpting..I didn't think it would work since it looked WAY to big at first.. but then decided to do some work on it. what I did was separate the helmet and head. I removed a lot and reshaped the face and jaw before placing it over a fodder head that i sculpted for to fit. Then with the hollow helmet I just placed over and re-adjusted before doing some additional minor sculpting. .. but it's all pretty easy since the head is a soft vinyl material..simple to cut and shape and no dremel necessary.

Thanks all - I appreciate the kind words ! I agree with integration; since DC is doing the comics, we could and perhaps SHOULD see Warlord fit into the MOTU cannon. Always wanted to see it happen! It makes more sense than the average DC /Justice League characters.

I had this guy when I was a kid, too. He "guest starred" in quite a few battles with my MOTU collection. Really nice work on this!
