I just loved the way that Lyn turned on Count Marzo when he dared lay a hand on He-Man, despite all her warnings to him! She's really put the hero through it - but within limits - and when Marzo tries to force matters she zaps him to Despondos - just like that! It's a real powerful scene and with amazing dialog.
And afterwards she takes time and trouble to heal He-Man all up and tends him - but now he's got no memory and he is completely under her spell - literally! And she still has plans for him....

Absolutely! The choice of Marzo as Lyn's associate - and his reasons for doing so - was inspired storytelling. His personal hatred for He-Man - and gnawing desire for revenge on the captive hero make him dangerous - but it's only in Ch 8 that it's revealed just how dangerous. And his patent pleasure in taking that revenge is truly horrible - but short-lived, since Lyn prevents him wih her furious blast of power, which is just as well for He-Man!

And, at this stage, it still isn't clear exactly what it is that she want of him, except that she is determined to break the hold Grayskull has over him. And he - almost mindless now - can't even fight back as he doesn't any longer see the need, and believes what Lyn tells him, that tne Sorceress is evil and has duped him all along.
It really is powerfully written and gripping stuff.
