Thanks! I was really excited at how spot-on the metallic blue ended up.

And I only use regular ol' brushes. Acrylics thinned with Tamiya thinner, and several coats. I still have some more work to do on this guy, but I was too excited not to post some pics.

Both the custom and the humor are excellent!
It is spelled "Crita", not "Critta". Misspell her name and Crita will knock the "T" out of you!

    Also...get her into the line!

    Do you always use thinner?

He looks great. Incidentally, he's one of my favorite guys to use in Marvel vs Capcom 3.

In my limited painting experience using acrylics (this guy is #7 or 8, and the first one that wasn't a Transformer), it kind of depends on the color I'm applying. The metallic blue covered so well that I barely thinned it. However, whites and yellows will get thinned-no exceptions. I can't get to the page from work, but if you look in the custom forum on allspark.com and see a thread featuring Jhiaxus by Big Show, that's me. He was all white and yellow, and I was thrilled how he came out considering the color scheme. If it is large sections of white or yellow (or in Taskmaster's case, orange), I have to use a good amount of thinner, several coats, and a healing helping of patience.

Edit: ok, here's the ling to that thread with the all-white and yellow figure. This dude took a few weeks of off-and-on painting and was probably a half dozen coats at least for the smoothness I was hoping for.
