Who would win in a fight between He-Man and Wonderbread He-Man?

I'm starting to believe that maybe this is just a forieng Variant, or bootleg. I've been following this since it first popped up and all of this lack of news on it is rather disheartening.

The WB was a mail away in the States. Thats how I got him and a few of buddy's from work. It's just hard to remember 20 years ago when I was 7 and parents really didn't remember because what difference did it make to them where I got the toy from. It was just another piece of junk they had to clean up after me.

Well if people actually do have memories of getting them via the mail, my theory was dead in the water.
Oh well eh?
I'm starting to think we may never know the truth.

OK everyone, I want to share my WB He-man with you and possible stir up some controversy about what exactly came with the WB He-man. I just recieved this WB from a collector who recieved it in a lot of toys years ago(non-ebay) from another collector.
The thing that is wierd and new is that he came with a vest I have never seen before. Maybe you all can help shed some light on it.

That vest has to be a custom, as i highly doubt that we all could have gone THIS long without seeing that before. But its cooler than anything else i have seen here in the thread before.

Wow, that's DEFINITELY an interesting vest. I have no idea where that came from. I don't even recognize it from another toyline.
I don't think it could have been packaged with Wonderbread or we'd have seen it before, and I don't think it's a prototype for He-Man or why would there be so many others? Very weird. But my best guess would be that the armor is custom also.
Thanks for giving this thread new life. The riddle of the "Wonderbread" continues...

If I were to take a random guess, i'd say it's possible that the vest was from a bootleg MOTU toy, and someon eput it on that He-Man liking the way it looked. Then the original owner traded it off, now here we are today.
I'd like to believe that actually goes to him though. it looks so fitting and good.

i would think that vest also came from some bootleg toy.. (not a custom.. looks old to be a custom)
jim...
does it have any country or year printed on it on the back or anywhere??
That armor looks good on him! - If the armor is indeed from some bootleg toy, I've NO idea whatsoever who it goes to. You'd think others would show up with WB He-Man if that's what actually came with it though.

The armor does not have anything printed on it. The figures has Mattel 1981 Taiwan like all the other WB figsOriginally Posted by carlo

I have no idea on the armor other than it totally matches and seems to go with the figure.
I got it from a collector who has had it for over ten years and he got it from another collector in a lot of figures purchased.

the armor is a knock off of galaxy warrior armor with the he-man cross on it. it's not mattel or any thing to do with brown he-man but is still a nice findalso the plot thinkens as ive come across a mexico stamped one. not from an internet source. i dont believe in mexico brown he-man but the one i have now is hard not to believe. but until i can prove it to me. i wont try to prove it to anyone else.

[QUOTE=BeatJunkie]Didnt you read the promotion's fine print? Opening the baggie releases gases that cause amnesia.Originally posted by Nilsor II
[B]I think the best arguement for the figure's existance is the figure itself. They can't all be stunningly identical repaints. Is a repaint going to leave the detail work on the shorts and covr their original color? The same finish as other MOTU figures? Also, the plastic of the torso is a strange tint not found in other figures.
The figure is clearly real, the origins are convoluted.
Good Point. But I still think something is not right with the whole thing. I just can't believe that every kid in the world that ever recieved a WB He-Man from a mail in promotion back in the 80's, can't remember where it came from. With all the traffic to He-Man.org and recent resurgence of He-Man, someone MUST remeber or know the origin of this figure, if it is real. Yet no one is talking. It's funny, but compare it to area 51. The government denies it's existence (mattel denies any involvement with the figure, and states it was never produced). Only a select few work (worked) there, but everyone suposedy knew someone who did, (how may of you actually have an original WB He-man? or just got it off ebay from someone claiming to have recieved it when they were kids). So scientifically/technically, the figure doesn't exist. Which ads to the mystery, and makes it a very Hot commidity. Now this is where I believe many people are cashing in on it. I believe people can do anything with some paint and whatever else they can get ahold of. I knew a guy who could take the bubble of a carded figure, and seal it back on, and you would never know. I mean MINT condition. Scary. Sorry to ramble on, just had to say what I was thinking.

Did Atlantis really exist.
What is Savage/Wonderbread/WBHe-Man and what is the truth behind him. And was he truely a mail away exclusive or some sick prank.
These are the mysteries that I believe will truely plague us until the end of days![]()
