NO RIO WE RIOT!!
I'm positive that WB He-Man was available in Europe , too.
As a kid I remember seeing it at a kids house , probably thinking "weird that He-Man has brown hair".
I'm quite sure it was the real thing , it was probably not sold in stores in Europe , probably a coupon offer or something.
When I saw a picture of it at the old site , I got a deja-vu feeling that I'm positive I'd seen it before.

Just a thought! has anyone tryed to contact Conan propertys about this and see how they stand? maybe Mattel is not saying anything because they lost the case?
Being a Fan of He-man and Conan this topic is really dear to me, I live in the UK and I am now 26 I can remember friends telling me at school when I was approx 14 and getting into the whole Conan thing, that if I had a He-man fig that had brown hair it was worth collecting, as it was an early Mattel fig of Conan. Unfortunatly I dont and its one of the few things in life I really want to possess. I hope this sheds some glimmer of hope to you all.

I may be mistaken, but I think one of the terms of the court case was that Conan properties was not allowed to talk about it. Hence not to ruin the good rep of He Man. But I could be wrong or it may have been a rumor.
HAs anyone given it a try to see if the Conan properties would give us some insight? How do you go about contacting them?

The condition of this figure is C8 to a C9 in my opinion. The hair on he-man is a little worn, the arm are tight more on the left than the right, the legs are a little loose and his chest changed color do to its age.
Hmmm then it's not in C8 - C9 condition then is it? idiot.
That's like saying this car is MINT, except the tires are missing and the interior was gutted...
Yeah more like a C6 !
You cant tell me someone will bid on that at that price?

Hey, Carlo, nobody wants to see you with your shirt off. If you prefer not wearing a shirt when you're at home, that's cool, but don't make us have to see a picture of it. It's not even like there are that many girls on here. I don't mean to sound like an ass, but come on?
WTH does your comment have to do with this thread? and where did this come from? AND who the hell are you anyway? it surprises me when people i Never heard of come in start their BS?Originally posted by eeyore873

Who would win in a fight between He-Man and Wonderbread He-Man?
Wow this thread just keeps on going... I remember seeing it almost a year ago...
I got what may be a "wonderbread" he-man 2-3 years ago (could even be more than that) on eBay from a lot that wasn't listed as "Wonderbread HE-MAN!" or anything like that...
The figure is a brown haired he-man, black boots, and is tm in the back "Mexico 1981". Once I had the figures in hand (it was small lot of about 7 figs, they were all complete and in the same condition as the "wonderbread"), I asked the seller if it was his own childhood toys or something... he told me he got the lot from a local yard sale. From then on, even if this figure have a special place in my collection, I couldn't help but stick to my theory that Wonderbread He-Man is just a myth... so close to obtaining the proof from a clueless eBay seller, and it happened to come from another guy who probably only made a custom which he let go at a yard sale since he didn't really care...
I never really believed in the "Wonder bread" He-Man, I don't know how it started but I think most of what we see on eBay is fake... I got this figure from a lot back 2-3 years ago from a clueless eBay member and I still don't believe in the "wonderbread" he-man thing... How come that today with the Internet and the zillions of people able to talk about their interests (like here) we can't come up with at least 10-12 people with crystal clear memories of owning this "wonderbread" he-man in their youth?...
Well anyway, here's the simple facts about my "wonderbread" he-man:
- Trademarked Mexico 1981 in the back.
- Brown hair, brown pants, black belt and boots.
- Absolutely no weapons/accessories, even though he came with a bunch of figs that had all their accessories and weapons (so was there weaponless/armorless Wonderbread he-man? After all, the Black Zodac armor is not at all hard to get, and the brown axe/sword do exists in the form of Man-e-weapons...)...
- He has some paint rubs, especially on the hair, but those are paint rubs where you see the rubber color behind... there's no mark of yellow. From what you can see, the brown color was put directly on the rubber (which makes me believe that if Wonderbread He-Man really existed, this one is probably the real deal...).

wonderbread he-man is a hoax because why i wouldn't get one because you can take a loose he-man and painted to look like the wonderbread he-man
