there was a proto weapons pack that featured the maroon weapons, dunno if they were mass produced, they certainly weren't sold in the past, maybe distributed with that infamous wb he-man

Hello, as some of you know I have been searching for a WB/Savage He-man for quite some time. I finally bought one from Zoloworld.com I want to ask your opinions if you think it's legit. I checked him over and I found this. He has the shiny Black boots and belt with tan brown hair and shorts. Not an intense dark brown like teela but a lighter shae. The colors seem to match. He has some chips on his hair and his boots and only the flesh tone peeks through. No other color is visible. His hairline is not paited all the way and a bit of the fleshtone peeks out. The inside of his shorts is a tan brown like the outside of the shorts so it looks like it's all one molded piece which shows no painting of any kind. When you rotate his torso you can see black from the belt going all the way towards the center, although there is brown that looks like it is peeking through the black perhaps from wear? I popped his arms off and each arm is numbered 5 and 8. The date stamp on his back is 1981 Tawian. I even went as far as to pop his head off and it did not have a plug and the head was stamped 1981 Tawian. This is all the info I got from examining him. I will post pics up when I get them off of my camera, LMK Thanx Paul~

How many people here have a Savage He-man? He is extremely rare and hard to acquire. With the amount of people out there trying to sell fakes, I believe this is a good thread. I have one more in my personal collection.

This pic is form an E-Bay auction I ran a long time ago. This is also the pic I have on Zoloworld.com
    Check it out.

Note: This is one I sold years back. You can tell by the paint rubs on the hair area.

This will be a great reference for people looking to buy one. Sorry folks, the one pictured is sold.

Thanx I have learned it from years of reading many wise .orgers posts. The breakdown is just what I gleamed from overly examining mine. He probably feels violated. I have looked in pretty much every one of his crevices, lol.

If you own a Savage he-man, make sure to view this thread. There are many people that know about these up and down. I have had five of these. 4 of which are sold. You actually bought the fourth one lol. It went on sale during the grand opening of ZoloWorld back in December.

Awesome man, I hope many more people respond that own a Savage He-Man.

That seems about as legit as it gets, congrats!

I've found that taking the arms off is a necessity. People do like to use them Fisto bodies for the custom, and cracking it open to get that spring loaded arm off is a must. Looking for glue helps, but the pry marks around the arm joints will most likely be there if it's a fake, er, custom. Well, unless the entire pelvis is painted, but that's easy to spot in person. I'm also still pretty sold on the belly button and belt/fabric gap, sounds dumb, but they're on all the known legit WBs I know of.

    congrats again thexxwatcherxx!
