You can tell from the sculpt that the second figure is not from the MOTU line. It's a bootleg/ripoff figure.

Since I won't be paying shipping for this, do yoyu think I got a good deal, or paid too much. All I was really interested in was the weapons really.... but If that he-man is better then the one I have, then I can just keep that new one instead.

    damn bootleg

It's still not a bad deal. Some of those weapons are hard to come by, and they seem to be in good shape. And you can use that extra He-Man to make a custom WB He-Man figure. That's what I did with one of my extras.

I guess I could... but Maybe i'll luck out and someday get an actual WB He-man

Nakked of course, wonder why they didn't give him armor...

I like the no armor He-Man. Less to loose when playing with him.

Like everyone else, I too would like to know where this figure came from. JVS3 played his hand with Mattel and came up with a "We did not make this figure." Maybe something new will surface in the future.

    Darren:

If you don't mind sending me a pic of your bagged WB he-man with the insert and also a pic of the Insert I will try to ask some Barbie collectors to see if they know anything about the Figure and the Insert it came with. I know that recently some people ripped off your Insert to make a copy and I can understand why you wouldn't want to let anyone get a hold of it. But maybe you could write on the pic property of the Fowlers and hopefully that would deter some people from coping it. Let me know, my email is: stevedjm@yahoo.com
    thanks Steve

    dorry to get off topic.......

On that auction, can anyone tell me were those axes came from?
I already have my nakked skeletor wearing his armor (both from 81
Hordak holding his bat and crossbow, but Man-at-arms is wearing the dragon blaster (what else do I need to have it complete?)
And man-e-faces has his gun back..

Sorry to get off topic again......

Too bad it really didn't have a WB He-man in it, I'd be really happy.

Travelor:Here is the break down of what belongs to who:

Orange gun: belongs to Kobra Khan
Dark brown axe: belongs to Buzz-off
gray axe: belongs to the Weapons Pack
dark cream axe: belongs to Castle Grayskull
dragon blaster armor: belongs to Dragon Blaster Skeletor

And I believe you've already matched everything else to their respective figure. And if you want to see complete listings of all the old Motu action figures with pictures click here or here

I was just reading the old DC MOTU comic, and in issue 2 of the 3 part series, He-man meets up with a friend who looks just like WB He-man. The guy who looks likes WB He-man is named Ceril and he wears Brown shorts and has brown hair. Ceril is a barbarian jungle king and he is just as buff as he-man. The only difference is that Ceril has a goatee while WB he-man doesn't. I just thought I'd throw this info out.

Just coincidence, I'm sure. Like it says in the description for the comic on this site, it was probably DC's attempt at reconciling the Adam He-Man with the original "barbarian from the jungle" He-Man.

Since when is this brown haired He-Man a mystery? I remeber just how I got mine. It DID come from a bread mail away, but I have no idea if it was wonderbread or not. But thing is, it was a MINI loaf of bread.

It looked just like a full size loaf, but it was very small for children. Anyway, I remeber I had to have it because it had He-Man and a hemetless Battle Cat on the front saying something to the effect of get a MOTU action figure.

Why do I remeber this so well? Because it took nearly a whole year to get the dang thing. My mother and I had pretty much gave up on it, till one day it finnally showed up.

This is no guess, I remeber it VERY well.
