A skirt for the Faceless one

This thread is to see how much support an additional skirt piece for the Faceless one has on the forums. Perhaps Mattel will release one in a weaponspack if the demand is high enough.

So if you're interested in an additional piece speak out!

Many already call the Faceless One a statue due to his armor and cape, so I don't think adding a skirt would help change all of the criticism. Personally, I love this figure. Well, at least I do now after adding one of Kevin Kosse's aftermarket heads.

Totally agree, I've always wondered why it came without its skirt..definitely a piece I'd want, the figure it's totally uncomplete (and kinda goofy) without it.

This figure is already an un-poseable hunk of plastic because of the armor. I have zero interest in utilizing any upcoming resources to make a piece for him that makes the figure even less poseable.

If you really want a "skirt" for him, buy a piece of foam or fabric square from a craft store and cut into in the shape of a funnel; instant skirt.

This thread isn't meant to discuss the figure and it's mobility, there's probably already another thread for that.

Mine already has a skirt. Purple cardboard was all I needed.

Love the figure so much but always thinking there is missing something.

I would like it, one of my favorite figures and why not make it better.

I just cut some felt. Works great! The cotton balls give him that nice extra touch. Also, Kevin Kosse offers a really nice custom head that looks 10 times better on Faceless One.

Meh. He'd essentially be a staction if he had a longer robe.

I would sooner go for a way to keep the cape up/on than a skirt.

I'd be up for a skirt as an add-on somewhere if I didn't have to pay any extra for it ... but what I'd really spend money on is a pre-Elder's punishment Nikolas Powers head! This Mattel have to make and pack in somewhere, as they did with Zodak unhelmeted in the Strobo box.

Not trying to discuss the figure or its mobility, simply explaining why I do not support the initiative to have a skirt included in an upcoming weapons pack.

actually strong point. However in this instance I would suggest just adding a purple piece yourself. cut & paint a piece of plastic 2 ltr bottle. I mean, it couldnt be easier.

All that being said, nah, I dont want one.

I know (like his head) there were things they coulda done more accurate, but really, I love this figure and really dont feel it needs any changes.

I make custom stuff all the time and I'm not bad at doing so. However I'm a purist when it comes to my collection and I want everything to mesh material wise. Sure it's easy to create a skirt out of something but I don't want to have a piece made out of paper, cloth or plastic that doesn't feel like it belongs to the toy.
It just feels like they didn't finish this character. Shadow weaver got her skirt, as did orko so why not the faceless one?

Also, would you feel the same if it was a vintage character instead of a 200x one?

This is really what The Faceless one is missing, he just looks odd without it.
