    Impossible Search Help

    Hello all,

I am seeking, unsuccessfully so far, two of the rarest of the rare He-Man figures. The Laser Light He-Man and Megator and/or Tytus. This is a tall order and I also realize anyone with information is likely seeking them themselves but I'm going on good faith. If anyone has any helpful information on these items AND the prototypes, an even taller order, I would be eternally grateful.

    Thanks.

They were Europe only and they are out there on ebay.

You wont find them at garage sales in the USA..

Good luck. They are great figures to have. I spent the $$& to have them in my collection.

$600 loose $1200 on card for LP heman and $1200 loose $3400 on card for tytus

Welcome to the forums. These figures are expensive and very hard to find, but they are out there.

Hi, I have 2 pieces of advice for you if you ever manage to buy tytus or megator. Make sure the person you are buying it from packages the figure well, if it is mib, I would get them to wrap the figure in bubble wrap inside the box, not just around the box, and make sure they insure the item for what you pay, and not less. I had a very bad experience when I bought these two not only did I end up with a smashed tytus, but also wasn't able to get my money back through insurance due to the fact that the seller put the wrong value on the insurance document. He claims it was the post office fault but he still should have checked, I lost over a thousand, just because they left a zero off the end. Anyway, good luck on your search and just remember these guys are old and extremely fragile.

That is a TERRIBLE story! But anyone who has bought from me can assure you that I would never be so careless about packing figures or labeling the package!

I hope you dont think i was trying to have a dig at you man, I'm not out to name and shame the seller who I bought from, at the end of the day karma will prevail. Nearly everyone I have dealt with on the org. has been fantastic, and I am sure you are just as reliable as everyone else. All I was trying to do was make sure that the person who started this thread went into this large purchase with a bit of caution and advice from someone who has gone down this path before. You have a great example of the two giants and if I had the money i would probably buy tytus off you. I wish you all the best.

Not sure if you are aware, but there are 2 variations of the Laser He-Man. One with the classic vintage head with extra blonde hair, and one with the 'Dolph' head. The classic vintage head version is harder to find and more expensive. and if it helps, I was able to obtain my carded Dolph head version for around 800 a couple years ago.
