    Thanks for the post, wyld.

Would it really be so hard for them to put prices up?

I guess it's ok to sell orko to big lots for $5 but not to the people who actually support the line/product.

Oh, that is NOT good. I'm sure someone is going to pull that down and say it was a mistake, right? NOT a good way to sell subs.

Haven't had my e-mail yet - are you lot still on 'PDT' or is it 'PST' now? (I don't even know what they stand for ) (also, I don't live in America and we don't have 'Big Lots' over here, so I'm happy to get Orko for less than £40 + p&p if possible).

Have they started to send out the early access links? I have yet to receive one for this sale.

Actually I am considering it since my Big Lots doesn't have it last I have checked and I want Orko and its cheaper than the secondary market especially since i'll be paying shipping anyway when I get the MH doll and possibly the mini figures.
We need a Snake Teela and Critta in MOTUC! The snakemen and Space mutants are the only factions without a girl in them!

My wife wanted to chime in that selling Orkos during the subscription drive for $28 online when they have been at Big Lots for $10 is "brilliant". I think she was being sarcastic.

My bet is that the mini figures are going to sell out quick. I wouldn't expect Rokkon and Stonedar to sell out during Early Access, but it's possible. I plan on getting 3 Rokkon/Stonedar sets and 1 mini figure set.

I would really expect the price on the secondary market to drop if people are picking these up at Big Lots. The demand for Orko has to drop quite a bit.

It's kind of a big slap in the face to the online customers.......even if there isn't a Big Lots overseas, Mattel should match the price that they are selling them for at Big Lots. After all Mattel, you need customers to purchase subs.....what better way than to give them a discounted figure online?

It certainly blows the "there's not enough of these to be cost effective to list" argument out of the water.

Good PR during the sub drive would have been listing these at a reduced rate (say, $15) with the SDCC items.

Exactly! and with them being early access they are rewarding the 2013 subbers. That's a VERY GOOD incentive to re-sub again for next year. Even if they sell them at $15-$20 each that would be something... putting them up for $28, while they are in discount stores for $10 is insulting!
    The 12 figures I still need: 12/Spinnerella, 11/Peekablue, 10/Squeeeze, 9/Lizard Man, 8/Gwildor, 7/Filmation Clawful, 6/Imp, 5/Mermista, 4/Dylamug, 3/Tung Lashor, 2/Filmation Hordak, 1/Queen Angella.

Maybe, depends on how many people picked them up just for secondary market value though vs people who actually picked them up for personal value. You also have to be careful when lowering the cost of the items like that, you do it enough to compensate for Big Lots price and to still make some off of it, people will just buy it up and repost it since in that case shipping is pretty much a transferred value. buy it for 20 sell it for the 35 you still make 15 bucks off of it. But another issue.

As far as I know it's PST, but we're on Daylight Savings Time now, so maybe that makes a difference?

It's now 6:55 PM Pacific, which is all that I know. Hopefully someone else can help you better.

Simple explanation PST and PDT, standard and daylight (savings). Standard is normal time, the second is to get more time in the evening. We are savings time right now till November 2nd.

This will probably help you http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/tim...light-time.htm will show what time it is currently PDT
