Please help, how to take apart vintage MOTU

H, I am looking for help on taking apart vintage MOTU. They seem glued together and I can not get them apart without breaking them. Also what is the best way to prep and paint them, what type of paint? Any info will be great. Thanks

Trial and Error, Make up your own method.

Id actually relax a little bit If I were you. You seem very hyper. You need to calm in down some.

I was messing with joey, not you... one advise... read the Custom Figures and Such section deeply and you will find your answer, use the search function, and you will get many replies...

Opening MOTU chest one free if you want more just search it... so calm down...

This is why no one want to reveal you their secrets.

Since Feb 2009 you have only 10 post and 4 are in here, and I was reading all your last activity and only one about weight lost revealed a little about you... first you have to give to then receive... that is my motu.

because, if you used the search function, youd be able to answer your own questions.

you can also google it, its really, self explanatory..

    Ill help with the arms.

Grab your figures arms, and lift up, they should pop off with ease.

wow, damien the .org users in here are *****.... you ask for help, and over 3 days no one does, and then when you are like "why is no one helping?" they're like WHOA CALM DOWN, SMOKE WEED, YOU HAVE TO GIVE US STUFF TO RECEIVE STUFF .... what BS is that? antiquated nonsense is what that is.

Im sorry they treated you like that, and it actually makes me embarrassed that they are apparently supported by the majority in their behavior and thinking.

How about help, to help .... not to get something in return, because it's the nice civilized thing to do ..... jesus what is wrong with you people.

Straight to the point, it is indeed very hard to pry open vintage figures without breaking the inner pegs. Your best chance at opening the torso without breaking would be Spanish figures . These often come easy to open, the seams on the torso do not appear to be sealed at all. I was able to pry open without breaking a Spanish skeletor and he-man .

Think I still have the pieces somewhere
