Nice it's like looking into my work shop at home What do you have wrapped around the pillars. it looks like some type of... paper? I hope that polystiryne isn't like styro- foam because it will melt if you try to spray paint it without covering it in something first.

Styrofoam is a brand name and it is made from polystyrene.

It must be covered, he will probably use some sculpting material on those.

    Thank you my friends.

Yes, the totally surface will be covered by a material for modeling, then also on the pillars.
First step I will finish to make the polystirene basament and insert under surface the straws to insert electric cables.
After I will start to cover and model everything.
So, I must work a lot..

    Little update:

Two wip images of diorama partially modelled

After modelling phase, I must work on little details with help of my dremel and others tools.

Great looking so far! There is a car for size comparison!

What sculpting material you are using? DAS clay?

Love the diorama. I usta make a lot of scale wargaming terrain, and I have so many plans for this sort of larger-scale thing. If only I had the room to work on them.

I have that Malebolgia somewhere at my folks' place, and this is such a creative use for him. Love it, man.

Thank you to everybody. I hope that you will continue to follow my work.

    Mini-Update:
Modelling fase is ended, but now I must work with my dremel and the indispensable sandpaper.

Besides I must wire electrical cables of little leds that I chose to illuminate the diorama.

    Thank you, thank you!

I'm happy that you like my customs and this diorama... but this is only the first step.
My program is to create others two dioramas linked at this.
Now I'm thinking how realize a ilkort alcove, a underground place where ilkorts live.
I hope to post soon a new sketch.

Amazing, and this is quite a compliment coming from someone that, like me, has never been fond of light-up dioramas. Well done!

    I forgot:

Emerald Staff is a Evil Mike creation as the alternative He-Man hand (the hand with sword).

I used also parts realized by Karak Nul (as ilkorts close hands).

Brilliant work. The lights add a lot and your modeling work is astounding.
