    Anyone with a 3D Printer?

I'm interested in getting a 2D image made into a 3D Statue. One guy in an action pose on a Jet Pack.
Can something like this be done from a 2D image, or does it need to be 3D in a way?

I'm curious how much something like that would cost, and how long it would take.

    thanks

That requires a 3D model to be made, for that you have to contact a digital sculptor to do it for you and give you an STL file that you can then send to a digital printer to get it printed.

Having a Digital Printer is just 1 step in a much larger process

dang...I MIGHT be able to do a 3D model myself, but it won't turn out nearly as good as what a pro can do, and I'm guessing that might cost some money. anyone ever do something like this?

I have it done all the time (its how my toyline gets made), there is not really a place to go look though. As for cost each sculptor is different and it will all depend on what you consider cheap or expensive. I mean sculpting is sculpting so its not going to be free, but if you find the right person to work with you it will probably be affordable.
