Clamp Champ and NA He-Man Arrival Thread

Clamp Champ is a great figure. Simple classic design and to the point. Really like the colors. The metallic colors on the redesigned Fisto armor looks really nice. It pops. The back pack is sculpted on and is a bit of an eye sore. I think the Horsemen made a mistake on that. Both clamp weapons are highly detailed and functional.

Love the detailed face sculpt. Ton of character. He doesn't have the Fisto bicep. Actually wish he did.

    Clamp Champ's mouth/lips are huge.

WOW! Great action poses there! Might be a dumb question, but is that "holding Rattlor over the head" shot achieved with fishing line, or is that clamp accessory and Clamp Champ's assumed tight joints capable of pulling that off without trickery?

    Just some strategic posing.

I guess this means you didn't get preview figs for review, Dan?

He looks great. I love his little smile. He's definitely not as shiny as the teaser photos suggested.

I like the proportions of his head. Fisto and Jitsu were too small/narrow, but this head looks accurate...

Clamp Champ looks amazing!!!! Despite the negative comment about his face…I think it's a great face sculpt! A LOT of character there!! His weapons look awesome! I can't wait for mine to arrive!

    He looks excellent, great photos.

I have a question about the clamp - do the pincers move independently of one another or simultaneously?

Was not looking forward to this version of He-Man to be honest. Don't really dig the ponytail, pants, and the resemblance to Bow basically. Plus the sculpt of the ponytail head looks warped. However I love the helmeted armored look. Makes a huge difference.

The ball jointed wrist is only on the right hand and works extremely well. Don't like the loose grip from Bow though. Works for this version of the sword though.

    Now the better version

The face still looks odd to me...

But I like him, because I had him as a kid...

Any figure that matches his skin tone for customizing?

Love love LOVE the armored-up helmeted look! Not that the other one is bad, but the armored-up version just looks so bad-ass. I love that they MOTU-icized the NA armor by giving it some fur around the shoulders a la Man-At-Arms.

Independently. You can also fold them inside the the device, hiding them.

I don't think that's fur. I think it's old school 1950's sci-fi insulation (which is weird because He-Man or She-Ra don't need protection from space or a vacuum). The same material is around his stomach.

Me too. I get to open NA-He-Man, Clamp Champ, Octavia AND Karatti! Chances are that they will come on the same day of the reveals!

So, is anyone going to try putting the sword aloft hand onto their normal He-Man figure?

I am so glad I sold my NAHM....

Small heads huge ass hands, plus ponytail....I do not like....one bit....Man I hate those hands.....

Looks like I need to post in the marketplace that I need bare normal hands of every color so I can replace them on any figure that comes with these hands in the future....to me the hands are ass, plain and simple.
    Recent....Eldor
    Coming....Arrow, Tung Lashor & Bow
    Wanted....
    Considering....
    Needed....Dragstor

Oh man, did I forget to use these [sarcasm][/sarcasm] again? Sorry....

Clamp Champ is not a figure I am really looking forward to, but he does look good here and NA He-man rocks.

I agree on the hands, they look too big in comparison to the normal hands... I saw on theFwoosh that the DC He-Man head seems to fit the skintone...

Nice, I'm very psyched for the Champ. I kinda like that NA He-Man doesn't look like normal He-Man-- I kinda picture him as a future descendant of He-Man, not the same guy as Adam.

I think the ponytail looks so much better than the page boy or the mullet hairstyles. I am happy to have this figure.

Clamp Champ looks great! I really like how he turned out. I know it's accurate, but I'm still not in love with how huge the Clamp is. It's very 200X in that way.

NA He-man is a total knock out of the park for me. Love both looks. I do wish the green on the sword and shield weren't so milky and were more like the plastic on the classic figure.
