MOTU Japanese Rubber MUSCLE type Figures

I haven't came across any of these here on the forum, but if so forgive me if this is a repost. I have been after these figures since 2007 when i first saw them. They were available in japan, not sure if they just came in vending machines like the bulk of most rubber figures or if they came boxed with candy like a some of the small figures did. They have the official MATTEL stamp on them so they are official licensed figures. They are typical "eraser" type rubber, that all japanese figures were made of in the 80's. They are about 1.75"-2" tall. These are pretty rare and ive only seen some for sale twice in 7 years of looking. They usually go from $160-$220 each in Japan. Pretty expensive, but very cool.

I have 7 of these figures myself and was wondering if anyone else here has seen them or has any themselves in their collections?

These are great on so many levels from the likenesses to the MUSCLE proportions. Thanks for sharing.

Now if someone could just be willing to cast the pewter figures...I've been hunting for those for years.

    vintage m.u.s.c.l.e. type figures

I bought these repro minis from a forum member several years ago. I can't remember the name of the member. Does anyone know what company/country made the originals? Are there pictures of the rest of the series? Thanks.
