Did Toyguru slip (when talking about Horde Troopers re-issue) and let us know that they usually produce 20,000 of each figure?

Unfortunately it seems Toyguru has misunderstood the geo-blocking explanation or Digital River doesn't understand it. I hope it got fixed with last early access at least, as it seemed like an identical problem.

Didn't catch that, but he did mention a possible Filmation head Hordak or Sundar in a new Horde Trooper pack. I'd assume that means Filmation Hordak isn't in the works until 2016.

He also mentioned we will find out about the Create-A-Character runner ups very soon. I wonder if they might be the new mini-sub?

It is towards the beginning when he is talking about what it would take to go back to the factory and get them to make 20,000 more Horde troopers, etc.

That would be interesting, but as a POP fan, I wouldn't be happy about that if CAC gets a mini-sub over POP.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the CAC runners-up (some were quite neat like Three-Beast), so I'd hope Mattel would post like the 100 best entries and let the fans vote on the ones we want as figures. Please no Gangstor!!!! LOL

Yeah, I personally think POP deserves the mini-sub. It could also fall under Filmation POP as well.

On my question: I'm DEAD SERIOUS about it. (Both the Whip and Head, but the Whip is more likely to happen.)

People have complained about Spector's similarities to Deadpool. The Unmasked head would make him POP more! (and not have Spector look like a purple DP)

    Battle Damaged Spidey...
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Now I need a Crita!! Crita is to Mara what Evil Lyn is to Teela. If we ARE getting Mara, then we NEED Crita.

Just finished listening - really good Q&A. A lot of the stuff Scott mentions does seem to make sense with regards to figure refreshes, DR, timescales, communication on these boards etc.

I've never had a major issue with DR but I can see what he's dealing with and what he's up against.

Im excited for these 2 years but even more for 2016.

BTW, I'd love a Spector whip

My assumption based on his comment is that they will show up in Unnamed One's mini comic.

The more I think about it I have a feeling the 2014 mini-sub is not going to be limited to one faction and will instead be a 'celebration of MOTU' style sub. Something where we can get POP/NA/Create-a-character figures in that 6-month period. Probably less so C-A-C as these wouldn't be Vintage- which we've been told will be the focus- but also will help fill missing slots in several different factions at once rather than limiting it to just one. A POP mini is most likely- since we are bereft of more than a few key vintage and have the most of these to make up before the end of 2015- but I still think Matty will try to satisfy the most people they can in this sub.

And a quick shout out to the Roast Gooble Crew for asking Scott my question!
