It doesn't get much more obscure than this...Brightmoon Guards!

For the most part, pretty accurate to the show. I used an Adora tunic as opposed to Glimmer parts since, you know, Glimmer isn't at Big Lots, LOL.

In my story there are two types, magic users and warriors.

    UPDATE

I made two new ones, and have added the pictures. I still need to get 2 more staffs.

    Update again!

I *think* I am done now. I have a total of 7 now, 6 female, one male. The male one I'm not super happy with. I need to get different arms for him, and the "fat armor" issue plagues him because I used a Sea Hawk vest. Overall though, I am pretty happy with them

The figure in the center is my "Captain of the Guards"

Nice. I kinda dig the use of Amidala's head for the warrior. Or is that just Natalie Portman's head?

Actually it is a Angelina Joile head, from the Tomb Raider 2 figures made by SOTA years back I painted tbe hair, and it does have a bit of a Amidala look.

They look pretty good, forgot about them, not many female troop builders out there.

    Thanks! I appreciate the pictures

I would love to do one of the male ones, but can't quite work out what to use a a tunic. The closest so far is maybe Sea hawk, but it doesn't quite work (plus I imagine he is slightly expensive).

    Update:

I swapped out the heads for two of the female guards, and have also taken a stab at the male guard.

The male is close but not perfect. Eventually I will do different arms or hands and ditch the Mo-laar gloves.

Plus my hand slipped when I was cutting out the scarf/shirt on the Seahawk vest and I had to do some surgery on the collar. Whoops.

Oh I have certainly been tempted. The only thing that has been holding me back is budget. 4 female staffs and one male adds up, lol.

Certainly on my future want list! You did an excellent job on them! I also love the paint job you did on them

    Thanks a lot!
You did some great work on your guards as well!

I agree, 5 staffs do add up. And there is basically no way to bring the prices down, unfortunatly. However, whenever you have the funds ready, go ahead and grab those staffs. Iīve seen photos of other Brightmoon Guards holding these, and it looks incredible

I used a Marvel Select Storm for the first. The hair limits the articulation, but that doesn't bother me.

The second is a Adora head modified to fit into the hair from a O'brian figure from a old Toy Biz series.

    Updated again

Since there are a couple of other Brightmoon Guard threads out there, maybe a mod could change the title to Brightmoon Guards by Barezz?
