Hey Peter, just working my way through your reviews and loving em.
Demo Man was released in 2011! Zoiks! Just feels like yesterday.

Thanks for the compliment! I thought it would be neat to look back at these figures in a retrospective ongoing feature. It makes me go back and appreciate and examine my figs in ways I didn't before. I'll be finished 2011 by next week. Where does the time go??? I DOES feel just like yesterday that Demo-Man arrived (and many others). Cheers!

It's been weeks since my last Rewind feature and I'm getting back into the groove. I'm kicking off 2012 with The Star Sisters - it was a set that cause quite the stir on here if I remember.

The Star Sisters are my favorite figures that I don’t have, if that makes sense. I should grab them sometime soon. Starla is my favorite, even if she looks like a Carls Jr / Hardee’s waitress.

Shadow Weaver is the reason I started collecting MOTUC. I saw her randomly on eBay, had to have her, and then had to fill out my collection (which is up to 140 figures).

Good recap of the controversy about her being an exclusive. I won't belabor that, but I am surprised that you didn't get into the Orkoweaver controversy about her coloring (and one of the secondary reasons people would like to see a re-release in the CG line). She is supposed to be red, but somewhere along the line, her color became darker and darker.

The spellbook is the Eldritch book of spells from a POP episode. The wand is NOT the wizard's wand from the beginning of another POP episode, but I think it does appear at some point in the series. I just can't remember when.

She's my favorite figure and I really wish I had like a dozen of her (although I should be satisfied with four).

After a bit of a hiatus, I'm back with The Mighty Spector. What a divisive figure this was!

    Agreed! Please keep 'em comin'!
Once we get this preview thing sorted, I can start feeding them back out again too.

Yes, do keep them coming! One of my guilty pleasures is reading reviews of MOTUC figures, even the old ones, so your work is much appreciated!

One question about Slushhead: do you keep water in his dome at all times? Mine leaks, actually drained oil all over the figure so that he looks like a gleaming bodybuilder, which is pretty frustrating. I don't know if I got a lemon or if there's a trick to it. At any rate, keep up the great work.

Electrified Porcupine’s Masters of the Universe Classics Reviews / Rewind Features

I love the Spector figure. I liberally toss out bios and alignments when i don’t like them, so in my display, Spector hangs out with my combined Great Rebellion / Galactic Protectors. He works perfectly as an NA hero.

I like Horde Prime so much that I used his as an army builder. A couple Primes are the elite guard, and they have regular Hordak heads under the helmets.

Thank you! Just read this today and it means a lot. My actual job has kept me busy recently. Things are about to slow down just a tad so I'll have more of these and the other stuff I do on my site soon.

I wish that all worked out but it's too bad Wordpress won't allow me to insert that stuff. I wish there was another way. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement.

Neat idea. I think he probably could work as a NA character.

    Hey, everyone!

It's been a while since I've gotten to some MOTUC on my site. I just got the Super7 figs in last week, so I'm gonna be giving my two cents on them for those who are interested. I'm starting with the Collector's Choice wave first, specifically with Hawke.

    - - - Updated - - -

My review of Lodar is now live. Enjoy!

    - - - Updated - - -

My look at Quakke is now up, for those interested.

    - - - Updated - - -

The last Collector's Choice figure review is now up - Fang-Or

    - - - Updated - - -

I've now started my look at the Club Grayskull figures with Teela.

    - - - Updated - - -

My review of the CG Tri-Klops is now up.

    - - - Updated - - -

The review of Man-At-Arms is now available to check out!

Last, but not least, is Hordak from the Club Grayskull line. Hope someone found my take on these figures useful or insightful.

Just finished Teela and Tri-Klops the other day, again great review. I think you are spot on the pros and cons and I agree on all except maybe for one thing, the shiny face and plastic. Looking at mine while reading the review as best i can to observe Teela inside the packaging (since she is still unopened), she have this even complexion face, and exposed skin parts. We'll i really have no idea why.I can stare at her all day, i really love her, this is the Teela I am most familiar with. I personally have a feeling of contentment with her.

Thanks! I found the shiny/glossy plastic only to really be an issue for me with Teela because the plastic for her head was so much glossier than the rest of the body. I found it quite the contrast.
