New characters that we've seen in the mini-comics, or new characters never before seen?

Both options would be fine for me.

Very interesting. I absolutely love the new characters, but now I'm even more intrigued by the ones we have yet to see .

So there are more ‘88 wave characters we haven’t seen besides Slamauri and the Snake Horde Trooper?

Yes, if you ask me, I'd prefer to work first on those that, although like small colored spots, appeared in the minicomics. However, I have worked on the design of some completely new ones as well

This is my favorite thread on the .Org!

Would love to see designs for coloured spots! Are some coloured spots designs for how species army builders could be transformed to figures with differing mix-match armor parts or multiple heads? Thinking Kulataks, beastmen, harpies, Speleans and Caligars?

Excited at the prospect of more '88 designs.

There is not much to say about the '88s. The two remaining characters are SLAMURAI and SNAKE TROOPERS. And I have already worked on the final design of one of them and plan to finish the other as soon as possible.

Glad you like my MUTATION design! I really like those little characters / figures.

About Lt. Andra and Sharella, I have some rough sketches of both that I made some years ago while I was working on the minicomics, but they need to be finished.

I'd love to see you work on some Filmation characters - there's loads of excellent ones that need some exposure, IMO.

Axel versions of the Melog, King Ahgo and Admiral Scurvy would look amazing!
Most-wanted MOTUC: Granita - Hunga the Harpy - The Melog - Dylamug - Sprag, Sprocker and Spritina - the Twiggets - King Ahgo - Filmation Grizzlor, Mantenna, Leech, Modulok and Multi-Bot

I’m really interested in seeing the skeleteens forces, but mostly snarlllll the snow thief, since he out of all the characters we have the least idea of what he looks like, just that one small image from the second ubg.

He’s done Bug Eye, Odar, Saw Tooth, and Missle Toe so it just leaves Slob Boar and Ever Mean to be finished and I wanna see Kay-La, Air Bag, and Fork Lift.

Agree, it would be great to see a bit more of Snarlll.

Also, if coloured splotches from the mini-comics may be further fleshed out, there is the white flying man (pictured at the rear LHS of the Dragon Walker, partly obscured by Sy-klone's wind trail on page 4) and what looks like a flying lady (or snake?) in distance behind Hordak's right knee (on page 3) of Second Ultimate Battleground.

I know I have a very rough sketch of SNARLLL somewhere, and he was always a character that I was interested in designing, and I will do it when I have some free time.

Thats awesome to hear def very excited to see what you have in mind, when i thought of what he would have looked like the only thing i had in mind was maybe king choolboah feet and grizzlor harness and a horde armband. And as a weapon maybe icer armor hemans ice spear. Cant wait to see what you got.

In Regards to Spinwhizzzzz, I love the reuse parts of Rotar, the only thing i would change is the Heroic symbol on him. I feel, and again this is my opinion so no disrespect to your creative decision here, That using the Grayskull flag, represents the characters associated with Castle Grayskull, characters that have transcended time to help the fight against evil (Green Goddess, Moss Man, Zodak, etc) , Where he is meant to be an horde hunter robot reprogrammed to help the Heroic Warriors. I feel the appropriate symbol would actually be the Heman Battle Armor H, Just think it would look awesome on him. If you ever got an opportunity i would be interested to see it. Keep up the awesome work of moving this brand forward!

    That just sparked my curiosity.

I assumed Snarlll the Snow Thief might be this guy, but the vintage concept looks more like a hero than a villain.
    I've always liked this concept.

I really look forward to seeing those! Those are two characters I'd love to see in the line.

You definitely read my mind about SNARLLL, because my early sketch was based on this concept with the option of having him as a EVIL HORDE or as a HEROIC WARRIOR.

    just now seeing this.

that is a pretty wild design/concept there. and yet it's growing on me.

IN MY OPINION:I think the Hordak head is out of place. I don't think the heads should be interchangeable. I think it should come with a standard Horde trooper head.

A very fast and rough design for SPIN WHIZ. It's done in the Horde Hunter robot mode. For the reprogrammed version, it would include a Heroic Warriors symbol (to be designed yet) that could be interchanged with his Horde symbol. And the Horde bands on the arms could be removed too for this purpose too.

    Awesome!
Looking forward to seeing it one day my friend!
That Snowman guy always struck me as a cool concept, no pun intended.
He is the perfect choice for Snarlll the Snow Thief. Interesting idea about the two options! Maybe he's a double agent or maybe he defected at some point.

A customizer asked me recently if I had a sketch with the design of EVER-MEAN, who appeared among other villains from the He-Ro, Son of He-Man bible, in the minicomic #7 of MOTUC.

Looking for that sketch, I found some others with designs of characters / figures, and among them another new Snake Men which I had completely forgotten. I usually have a very good and detailed memory, but the work in the days of the minicomics (especially the last ones) was very hard and complicated, and I think that when I finished with all that stuff I simply decided to "bury" all the material, which I'm rediscovering little by little, since I have a lot of folders and boxes with tons of pages and sketches.

Anyway, I just took two of those recently discovered sketches, and I gave them some color and here's EVER-MEAN!

*Gah!!* He's Horrific! I LOVE his finalized look!

Axel, were You thinking of the vines on Ever-Mean's arms and legs as removeable pieces, that he could use as weapons? Or just that they are separately molded pieces fitted over pre-existing limb pieces?

As always, Thanks so much for all Your work!

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like my design. The vines of the legs and arms were thought of as separate pieces of plastic with some elasticity, not only so that they can be used as weapons to whip, bind and trap his enemies, but also so that they can be removed from the figure.
