Original artwork from Gerald Forton (newspaper comic strips artist)

Putting this here as it relates to the newspaper comic strips book...

I had mentioned on the thread about the newspaper comic strips book that I was reading it to my kids each night. Val had asked to hear what the kids thought of it and so I had them write up their own "reviews" of the book. After posting what they wrote (you can read it on the other thread), Danielle kindly went out of her way to send my kids' thoughts on the book to Chris Weber and Gerald Forton.

Long story short, they both responded very sweetly to the kids. In fact, Gerald Forton actually drew some artwork for the kids and sent it to my home. Unbelievable! What a gift to the young fans in my house --a unique connection to He-Man history that will cement their love for the brand in a special way.

Thanks, Val, for asking for the kids' opinions. Thanks, Danielle, for the really kind gesture that facilitated this. And thanks to Gerald Forton for making my kids happy in a unique way that not many could!

Wow that is fantastic! Also very cool the little reviews your kids gave on the newspaper comics.

Gerald Forton also I believe worked a bit on the MOTU Minicomics too, so he's all kinds of cool.
