This week I thought I would try something a little different.
In addition to my regular custom commissions, I am also going to make a vintage ‘Princess of Power style’ Sea Hawk figure which I will be listing on ebay at the end of the week. But for this Sea Hawk figure I thought I would post some ‘work in progress’ pictures of how I will be making him over the course of the week.
I hope you enjoy seeing how he’s made.

Ok, I really have to hand it to you, I'm extremely impressed with all of your customs. Even more so because they are in the vintage style. So ummm, can we send you back in time to the 80's so we all could have such coolness in our collections??
I have finally returned from Despondos.

I'm a little curious to know if there are any more vintage style MOTU customs you might be working on??

    Great Rammy.

Did you just paint it up or did you use some type of primer?

Thank you. I painted him with enamel paints which i find are a lot more durable than acrylics. I also added a layer of enamel satin varnish for extra protection.
