Some notes maybe found along them? Or like artwork that depicts these next to He-Ro, Eldor or similar?
(I mean, the whole "Strobo wave" has caused lot of discussions already, with some putting them into POG and some seeing it as modern wave)
i dont think strobo at all. i never referenced him to POG at all and i hope not. he's a very boring zodac variant

    4 new figures.. hmmm..

    sharella
    gray
    un-name one ?
    4th ??

if they dug and dug and DUG. maybe some info on mini comics pt 2 and 3 and would tell you more info on what was to possibly come out from that trilogy story. i still believe those prints are in someones storage. there is no way mattel can plan out the POG line with figures and artwork over a yr in advance, outline story 1 and then just .. Stop without writing the last two parts? that makes no sense at all imo.

I'd love if one of them turns out to be Sharella.

Both SHARELLA and GRAY seem like logical candidates.

Hopefully, we'll see something at TOY FAIR '18. Even some concept art would be great.

I am thinking the same thing, you can't work on a new spin off without consolidate the story and main characters as you can't number a mini comic "part 1 on 3" whithout a full story already written behind (and probably drawn at the same time than the first), that doesn't make any sense.
IMO Mattel never published the parts 2 and 3 because you probably had all the new characters Inside, like the full He-Ro appareance, knowing that the continuation of this toyline would never be produced.
1rst mini comic was not really a problem because you are seeing only the dinos Inside and they were already on the market.
So, I cross my fingers to see a day more than what we already seen and know.

If we are looking closely we can see many variations between them:

With the POG cardbacks too. It seems like the best option and heard hints about it.

This Gray figure looks nice but I really hope about a POG packaging.

About Eldor I am 99,99% sure that S7 has the material because more than one proof sheet are known in circulation, but about He-Ro the card is supposed to be wider (Deluxe version as Power Punch he-Man) and I am not sure if someone has it for real... (never surfaced on the web)
I will be a little bit disapointed if S7 produce He-Ro on a standard card like Eldor because the original art from Errol McCarthy from the original backcard would not be reused :/

It's cool. Though it curiously misses the point of how a card for Gray might have been done in later waves. Speaking hypothetically of course, as if we never knew the existence of full-on POG card. But imagining for a sec how these factions worked by 86/87....

I feel that just like Evil Horde, and Snake Men.... the POG logo would be greatly bigger underneath original logo. Since we have to remember, they were planning to push for it big time.
Here the small logo in bottom looks more like MOTUC-afterthought how they used faction-logos.

but about He-Ro the card is supposed to be wider (Deluxe version as Power Punch he-Man) and I am not sure if someone has it for real... (never surfaced on the web)
Still hope to see it one day... been waiting if HollywoodHeroes would showcase it one way or another. Or by some other fan/collector who might come accross it and show it instead of keeping it to themselves (like we've now heard many do).

Having any McCarthy art used on these would be great. But if they aren't, then hoping they can do something in the spirit of McCarthy card-arts.

Wow, I never knew that He-Ro was supposed to be released on "deluxe" blistercard! Was that planned due to the staff's size?

The Power and The Honor Foundation is involved, so I think you guys are going to be more than happy with the POG figures and the packaging.

I am thinking yes, it is a large accessory.

    - - - Updated - - -

Regarding better at the He-Ro's backcard artwork, I am pretty sure that the figure was supposed to have the same "swing arms" system Inside its torso than Flying Fists He-man has.
Like if with a swinging movement the staff opens, it is what at my eyes this artwork lets suppose against Megator.

Also to handle correctly its magical staff I am sure that the original figure was planned to have the thumb of his right hand lowered as Flying Fists He-Man again.
What are you thinking about that?
