Dark Skies was superb and definitely deserved more than one season.

The Following should have made it beyond three seasons.

Even after 22 years I am still ticked that the Staturday morning version Sonic the Hedgehog got cancelled. I loved that series.

After 22 years I am still miffed the Saturday morning version Sonic the Hedgehog got cancelled. It should have went on at least for a third season.

DALLAS -- the original; not the junk reboot. J.R., Jock, Bobby, Sue Ellen, Pamela Barnes Ewing, Miss Ellie... The opening soundtrack alone and that shot of Victoria Principal coming toward camera -- sigh... -- are worth everything. What serpentine storylines. What great characters and intrigues. GAMES OF THRONES? What's that? One of life's ultimate guilty pleasures. Imo, MELROSE PLACE was a ho-hum cakewalk compared to this gem...and I'm a huge Heather Locklear fan, for who I'd pay good money even today to see in a commercial.

View Episode One of the first season OF DALLAS and you're wondrously forever hooked. You'll thank me. Remember I warned you.

Oh man I loved loved LOVED that opening...I was a young child and of course too young for the show, but I was absolutely captivated by this show's opening. I loved catching it every week. I was utterly swept up in every note of that instrumental, and then the montages of the characters with three clips of them simultaneously side-by-side, oh man...you just could not beat that.

My other favorite show opening was Mama's Family...the way Mama would dust that first picture of Vinton, and then the screen became a "cube" that would rotate to the right and the next screen showed the next family member's framed picture on a different piece of furniture, until everyone's picture was shown from their place in the living room (alleging that all the pictures were seen there, as they were not placed there in individual episodes). As a young boy I thought, wow, for a show about a family, what a brilliant device! Introducing them by showing the main character dust the first picture, and then go into a montage of framed pictures for the other relatives on the show---absolute genius!! lol

Just finished re-watching Hey Dude complete series, remember when this was on. Guess it really ended because Nick studios being built in Florida and the cost to produce the show in Arizona was too much after that. I get it but would've been nice to have a real finale to the series back then.

I liked what i saw, but I don't want ANOTHER show on a cliffhanger un resolved.

Knight Rider was on fumes in season 4. noticeable by useless new character syndrome. Poor RC.

Actually I was talking about the new one with ties to the original. There were a lot of possibilities to be had with that show.

the kr reboot had it's own share of problems.

other than being a glorified ford commercial, it only got decent when it got back to basics, but by then the audience left it.

I loved Megas. Very fun show. I didn't take itself seriously at all.

Bear in the Big Blue House.

Some of my favorite memories in life are cuddling in bed with my firstborn son with snow gently wafting down outside our window, watching Bear. The ultimate gentle show. "Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Big Blue House!" Where have you gone, Bear? We need you so badly...

^---Hear, hear! I loved "Bear"...and I don't even have any kids, lol. But I am ardent fan of Jim Henson's works and the Muppets, and I thought this was one of the best 1/2-hour children's show there was (I will always hold Fraggle Rock as being the most supreme 1/2-hour children's show ever). I really, really wish it were airing in re-runs on some cable station out there somewhere.

Luna was one of my favorites...I absolutely loved the wonderfully comfy duet "The Goodbye Song" she and Bear would sing at each show's end with just the right mood and feel (and it was fun to take turns singing along with Bear's part or Luna's, lol)

    Ah, "Bear"... #WarmFuzzies

Surprised by no love in this thread for Firefly (the show, not the .org user!) - that was shaping up to be such a great series. I'm still furious about 15 years later that that's gone...

Tons of Firefly love from me Owen, it's a great injustice it got cancelled after just one season.
Unique, brilliantly acted and brilliantly written.

It was a great show, lots of fun, with a big fan following. Not sure why they canned it but over the years I've found that what producers think will make money vs. what people actually enjoy are usually very different.
