That's sad to hear, he did good performances in the films I saw him in.. FoF not being the first time I saw him, that goes to Gamera vs. Viras.

Very cool. I love the action scenes from Game of Death, and it's sad that the film was never completed. A friend of mine is a huge Bruce Lee fan, so I've been reading about BL lately. For Christmas, I gave my buddy the book "Treasures of Bruce Lee" which includes the original posters from BL's movies. Definitely look it up on Amazon if you're a BL fan.

One thing that I've read about is how he started learning martial arts from IP Man, but nothing I've seen indicates how long their friendship/mentor relationship lasted.
    RIP Andy Conrad.

45th anniversary Way of Dragon world premiere......

Some amazing items sgd by Japanese fighter (aka Whang Ing Sik....met him in Lon) and William , the Rome capo boss (aka Jon Benn , who ran a BL cafe in H.K)

Of the 4 completed films (Boss , Fist , Way & Enter) only Benn is still alive of the main villains.

    Trivia :

The little boy with the ice cream was played by Marco Pane , he watched Lee film at the airport for 12 hrs , a memory to last a lifetime........

Thanks to YouTube there's great interviews and footage we never got to see.

Anyone else seen Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story from the 90's?

Blue Jester, yes I enjoy that film very much. It was actually the first time I had ever paid attention to Bruce Lee before. Prior to watching it, I had a vague conception of who he was. That film embodied his life well: from his troubles in Hong Kong to the racism he faced when he came to America to his struggle and perception in Hollywood.

Here's a list of some of my favorite scenes from the film:

    • On the boat to America, when he learns about the phrase "Chinaman's chance." This early crack in his idealism foreshadows much of the plot.
    • The speech the owner of the Chinese restaurant gives him when he's fired. The part where she says she can always use a good "dish washa!" is very memorable.
    • On the set of the Green Hornet, when he improvises an action sequence. He scares one of the actors so much that he runs for his life.
    • His speech to Linda about how the American dream wasn't meant for the Chinese. It's very well acted and written, especially the way he felt so slighted.
    • His fight scene at the ice factory. That was epic. Best of all--no CGI. I'm sick of newer movies where CGI is used in place of real-life martial arts skill.

Jason Scott Lee did a tremendous job.
