Glad to see some CD love out there. I'm like that too....I like having the jackets with artwork, pics, lyrics, etc....

Since I keep them in the jewel cases, I sometimes like to sort through them just to look over my whole collection....thinking back to what was going on when I bought them. You can't do that with an invisible electronic pulse. Haha!

I can remember being so excited as a kid to get a new tape. I couldn't wait to pull out the jacket and memorize all of the words. Kids these days will never understand that. Or waiting all day to see your favorite artist debut a video on MTV. I swear the world seemed to shut down when there was a new Michael Jackson video. Good times!

    Me too.
I buy 2-3 CDs a week, I'm a rare cd collector, I have an ipod filled to the max, but 99% of it I own physically. I just can't go digital on music, films or books. I want the real thing in my hands. Now I will be honest and say that storing all my media is a chore as I have 15 boxes of comic books & 10 magazine boxes also! yikes. Comic downsizing coming soon I think.

I'm the same with films and books, but music I'm alright with digital. I converted all of my CDs to digital files to have everything on my iPod Touch for driving and such. But I still like CDs. And I will forever love disc-movies and paper-books.

Prefer physical Audio CD releases than Download, I'm a sucker when it comes to booklet.

Although if I could find a turntable that can rip vinyl quality to FLAC I would switch to Vinyl instead.
