As it turns out, the (very) little that I knew about Darius prior to this Bio release came from the 1990 He-Man (New Adventures) UK World Annual, and the (translated from German) text from a groovy foreign Mattel Catalog. Did we always know that he isn't a native of Primus??

Hmmm, so this explains why we haven't seen any new Galactic Guardians in MOTUC...
Where are the rest of my New Adventures Classics figures?!?!?

Hydron may have died as well, considering Flipshot has his rank and is by himself in mini comic 5. He also has an eye patch, so Fetra IV must have been brutal...

It had always appeared to me that Flogg's disembodied head was being carried in Slushhead's dome, so that would count out at least the two lead Denebrians following Fetra IV. Skeletor can be quite sentimental, as it turns out..?

I fact, it's from the cover + sticker of the German Ehapa comic #5/89, the issue where the series transitioned into NA and its title was changed from "Masters of the Universe" to "He-Man".

Cool. Thanks for posting that info. I had only seen it on some sort of sales piece, but I also know very little about the German comics and audio plays.
Hope to see you at Power-Con 2018!

Masters Mondays MOTUC bio reveals: April 9th - Darius

From the Dark Horse MOTU Character Guide and World Compendium. Entry written by Sir Reilly:

    1987 GERMAN EHAPA MOTU COMICS

Consistent with the German audio plays, the Ehapa
comics further established that Darius was originally
from the planet Krayk. On Primus, he was a respected
weapons master, technician, inventor, and leader of the
    Galactic Defenders.

At some point, maybe we can post the "Reference" lists we compile for each bio. Every bio submitted to Mattel for approval includes a list of references to all existing canon sources used in a particular bio, as well as any newly created material and names. Whenever possible, Eric and I try to pull from history or tidbits found in existing canon iterations.

Thank You, as always, Danielle! :^)

The thought of a Reference List of all the fantastic "name-dropping" that has gone on here is fascinating! Though probably a lot more work than you are already doing?

But I wonder: Is there anything that has been placed in a Masters of The Universe Classics Bio of which Mattel has NOT approved?? [^)

No. All bios are approved by Mattel and are official for the MOTUC canon.

I think what he's asking is if there has been things in bios (or entire bios) disapproved by Mattel.

Cool, Thank You! I'm sure that such particulars are None of My Business! Danielle and You mentioned NDAs (and running afoul of them! [^D) a few pages back, but the pushy/nosy side of me would have loved to have witnessed some examples of "Too Hot for Mattel!!" nixed Bio Details. :^)

    Don't mind me. Thanks again!

Nope. There's never been anything like that in the bios. And Mattel has been very cool the entire time.

Yeah, I'd say the only thing they really nixed were revisions submitted after approvals had already happened. For instance, revisions/additions were sent in for Crita and a small revision was sent in for Karg, but it was too late because those had already been submitted by the deadline and approved. We learned that any "after the fact" changes were not do-able. However, we address those things in future bios.

I'm guessing it must be either Crita or Despara coming next, if we are following the release schedule of the 2016 figures.
    Most wanted: 1) Lizorr, 2) Sagitar, 3) King Miro, 4) Hunga, 5) Hoove, 6) Kayo, 7) Artilla, 9) Master Sebrian, 10) Masks of Power Demons, 11) Twiggets, 12) Raj-Jar, 13) Hans Hammerholder, 14) Staghorn, 15) Spinwit, 16) Kittrina, 17) Vizar, 18) Butthead, 19) Nocturna, 20) Melaktha, 21) Stridor, 22) Uncle Montork & Dree-Elle, 23) ABC Giants
