Sorta off topic but why does tri-klops have 3 circles on his belt in the cartoon, where others have none? I always wondered this as a kid.

Figures did come with extra heads but never with extra armor with the exception of NA he-man and Dare, and no I didn't swap them.

Yes! I donít mind the glued on armor when it eliminates the bloated armor Matty gave us.

But I disagree with mjw41 on the head swapping part. Super 7 really needs to step up and fix the neck peg issue when they are selling figures with alternate heads or in the event they release a head pack in the future.

Figures didn't come with extra armour except the ones that did You forgot Vykron in which extra armour was a big feature of his. Fair enough you may not have swapped them but its a feature of this line.

I didn't buy Vykron it had cheap looking snap on armor pieces. I didn't waste my money on it

Also this is a Tri-Klops thread lets not take things off topic.

Have you guys noticed that the sword that came with the new triklops matches the vinyage cardback artwork of triklops, sword goes great with classics triklops

    yup
Just like the sword that came with Skeletor went with Alcala Skeletor.
The Horsemen add accessories that don't always go with the figure itself but are still fun.

    Yeah, I agree.

I would like to hear from Super7 on this decision. It's fine for those that don't like to swap pieces, but what about those that do?

I understand that the later MOTUC figures (Seahawk and Hydron the most glaring) had armor that was way too big, but almost every figure from the first few years had armor that fit just fine. It seems like an odd thing to take away from a line that has had it since it's earliest inception...

in the Filmation cartoon Tri-Klops never carried a sword and he didn't have a sword holder on his back except in secret of the sword and it was a sword sheath holding Adora's power sword, so the horsemen designed him correctly.

Got my visor spinning pretty easily. Just blasted his head for a minute with the hair dryer, then popped his visor off. There was nearly no paint slip on the inside. Heated it back up and popped it on.

Very pleased with him, and he was originally my least anticipated. Green is fine for me personally.

Hoss and heat worked for me, didn't even have to take off the visor. Guess I'm lucky.

More and more reports are coming in that this method is turning out successful. I think the key is getting the visor pliable enough with the heat to break it loose...

I just dont buy this "to make him a different green than the classics triklops" excuse. If he were to be screen accurate he would be a different shade anyway as he is more of a bluish green rather than the forest green of the original ,see this mockup(borrowed toyhypeusa's photo):

I tried this myself, heating up the visor several times (to where I could pull the head off and the face portion was very rubbery). But even after all that, it didn't work.

Man, Trike looks so much better in that darker shade of green....

    Dang it...

I'm sorry to hear that. I haven't received mine yet, and honestly, I think I'll just leave it the way it comes. I am so afraid of damaging him...

Received my Tri-klops. A little bit of hot water, a little lifting the visor to break the paint seal, and now the eyes rotate fine.

I love the sword. Now we just need the mini-comic Tri-klops to wield it!

Triklops came out okay, but I'm not impressed that they used the existing Classics ab piece with a new torso sculpt. They don't fit together correctly and create that weird ab joint gap. It's an eyesore.
My figure also has uneven skin tone on his legs.
And the green armor isn't bad, but I would have prefered the green that I ordered and paid for. (The swapping of the colour bothers me WAY more that the final product)
