    Toni's here to save the day

    Wow!!! Toni apparently has still been working on enemy sprites and has done an excellent job. Here are a few that he's come up with.... We're actually going to finish this first level. I know it has taken forever to get this far, but believe it or not, we are making progress.

    Any idea how close we are to seeing this game? Any chance we could DL a small demo version?

    Yeah, that's some good spriting there. A great effort when your working with such small things, all I do looks like irregular Lego. hehe.

    I think that an extended demo, (I think we've already seen one beta-demo) when the first level is finished, and work on the second level has gotten started would be appropriate. Since it's a demo a one-level demo under the development of the entire game would suffice.

    Or alternately, when you've gotten to level 6 of 10(?), you could whip up a new demo (demo #3 ), showcasing that level, to get people an incling as to how it's evolved.

    No, It's not cancelled, I just haven't had much time, what with the new job and attending college again. We still need parts of it to complete the first level. Maybe I'll try and give it another push to get some of the items completed.

    Needed
    2 backgrounds- village, jungle
    3 face portraits- ceril, he-man's adopted father, village elder
    A decent village and jungle tileset

    A few sound effects and music would be useful too

    Uglor, I should have asked about the size. I remembered "portrait" and I think I'm overdoing it now. Here's what I have for Ceril so far. I have He-Man's adopted father and a village elder drawn too (actually they don't look different enough from each other, so I'll probably change the elder).

    Is there any way I can change mine to fit with yours? I only just saw the Ceril sprites too, and I see I didn't make his hair and beard dark enough. I'll make any changes that are needed.

    Also, is there already a design for He-Man's adopted father? I'll redraw mine if there is, I just need to see it!

    Well I didn't want to mess up any other designs, but I did draw this picture for the adoptive father. If it's too radically different from the other drawings of him, he can be the village elder instead.

    Haven't looked at this thread in a while. Wish we would get another longer MOTU rpg game the original is good but a little short. If I had time I would start up a similar project.
