As a means to help the newbies(and us veterans) I thought it might be a good idea for everyone to give a brief summary of their story, indicate the genre and also inform the reader if it is done or still in progress. It's just a way for us to find out what's out there. If you guys think this is bad I’ll delete the thread. So PM me if you think its bad.

The Artifact (self-insertion fic...you have been warned)
Deep in the bowels of the planet, Adam uncovers an ancient artifact that is somehow preventing his transformation into He-Man. Seeking council from the Sorceress, the prince sets out to find a strange mystic known only as the "Dark Magician." Meanwhile, Evil-Lyn forges another alliance with Marzo in hopes to free Hordak from his last place of power: The Fright Zone.

I have several fanfic stories in the He-Man.org fanfic forum if you want to read them. Here are the links. I warn you, I tend to write very long stories (usually novel length) so most of these are still in process and have been put on temporary hold while I finish the MOTU comic scripts.

I know many fanfic writers leave stories unfinished, but I’ve never left any of my fiction unfinished so you can count on these being completed and getting regular updates once I’m done with the comic.

Finally, I’ve never written a synopsis for any of my stories before, so forgive me if they aren’t very polished.

The Bargain

Description: When a strange man contacts Adam in the middle of a diplomatic mission, the young prince finds his life turned upside down. Is the stranger friend or foe? Adam may die before he learns the answer to that question. Through the course of this story, Adam learns many things he never knew about his parents, the Masters, the Council of Elders and his own past.

Description: This an ongoing collection of super-short stories. They range from mind boggling and disturbing to romantic and cute.

Description: Characters based on well-known members of He-Man.org are sent on a quest to find a cure for a dying King Lioncourt. Join Irthia Divia, Tech Jaster, Herbwife Eideann, Lord Rhea, Brother Soul Fire, and Lady Niko as they travel across the enormous Southern Continent (does not exist in real show) and head for the land of Eternos to find a powerful magician who can cure their king. Other people who make appearances include: JVS3, FanGirl, Classiccowboy, Fusion Blaster, Lioncourt, Shadow, Mandolin and many others. No one is used in this story without prior permission. And though it is full of Mary Sue characters, the story is treated as a serious – if humorous – fantasy novel.

Meanwhile, Teela learns many things she never knew about the ‘demure’ Queen of Eternia and the Sorceress of Grayskull while trying to battle Skeletor’s minions with a handful of Masters, loyal guardsmen and one irritated healer.

Young Liora Light Spinner and Castaspella have been students of Norwyn's for seven years since they were found as orphans. Soon, they will venture outside their sheltered lives at Mystacore and find out who they really are and paths they take that will shape their futures on Etheria.

I also plan to get a second storyline going in there that will end up soon being on a collision course with Mystacore is the beginnings of the Horde invasion and at the time, The rulers of the nearby kingdom of Bright Moon are the only ones who persieve it as a threat.

Gossamer

Gossamar is a story of many inter-twining threads - Can Man-At-Arms drive back Trap-Jaw's army and defend a mine of mysterious value? What havoc can Evil-Lyn wreak in the Royal Palace before she is discovered? Will Teela crack under the strain of defending Eternia while her father is at war? When will we discover what Two-Bad has been sent to find, and can He-Man prevent it from falling into the evil clutches of Skeletor? Will Stratos and Adam's mission of diplomacy proceed peacefully? Can Orko discover the long lost secret of the greatest magic trick of all?

There are four chapters up so far, with the next in the works. Please feel free to leave me comments - it kinda feels like I'm writing just for myself at the moment (which I'm perfectly happy with, but I'd love it if other people were getting some pleasure from it too!).

But a mistake causes them to summon a different snake army: the terrorist organization Cobra! Fortunately the ninja Jinx was dragged along and helps the defenders of Eternia bring in G.I. Joe to counter this evil alliance. But all may be in vain as an ancient curse is unleashed that threatens to destroy the whole universe!

Note: the concept of a MOTU/G.I. Joe crossover may seem silly but this story is a serious novel.

Description: Adora is captured by a mysterious bounty hunter. But this strange biker woman is more than what she seems. Who is The Road Queen? What does she want? Whose side is she really on? Just how far will she go to get what she wants? How will the sudden arrival of a ruthless Horde Inspector affect this? And can Hordak resist the overwhelming urge to murder said Inspector?

Currently working on "Invasion." It's my version of a MOTU rewrite, using one of Aidan Cross' original characters--with permission (I e-mailed him). The story will take place mostly on Eternia, though it won't look like that at first.

I did some rearranging of characters...but isn't that why it's called a rewrite?

Easy deadline my foot. Geez I couldn't write anything. Well I had one or two short fics but that was it. My inspiration ran dry on this. All I can say is that it's my own fault. Though now all I want to do is some original short fics to get myself going. Still getting lots of ideas but writing very little. *sigh*

Hordak has finally defeated the Rebellion and She-Ra paid the ultimate price. With She-Ra's Power Sword in his control, he regruits Evil Lyn and Tri Klops for an invasion of Eternia. Secrets will be uncovered, the past will come forth as the battle for Eternia is coming. Will the newly formed alliance of the Masters and Skeletor be enough to stop the Evil Horde? Or will the Power Sword prove to work in Hordak's favor? A story of revenge and loyalty and what it means to to pay the prive for peace.

This story is going to be all over the place. Faker has ewmerged from the Abyss and is now is search of Eternium. But the Masters have their hands full when many of them turn up missing. Prince Adam is having images in his head about things that will happen soon. With the Sorcerese missing, Castle Grayskull destroyed and the Power of the Elders gone missing, and the smell of the Evil Horde behind all of this can Prince Adam rise to the challenge of saving his friends and Eternia without the ability to call forth He-Man? Or will he have to call upon an deadly enemy to help him defeat Hordak and Skeletor?

What ensues are Crackshot's attempts to win her over and sway her from the side of darkness...before it's too late. But in the end, only one question prevails: Can Evil...Love?

Behold, The Horde: It is the Earth year 2017. The Evil Horde controls the known galaxy with an iron grip. The planets Eternia and Etheria have been crushed by King Hiss and Hordak. The only hope for the galaxy is six unlikely heroes believed to be reincarnations of warriors predating the Horde called Guardians. Armed with the Starship Eternia, the mystical Guardian armor, added by an alien visitor, and possessing abilities which could make them the new Masters of the Universe, these warriors will shake the foundations of the Horde and change the course of history. If they can stay alive.

Eternian Trap: The Guardian Force divides their forces as they begin the process of gathering allies for the coming war. Colonel Markson leads an expedition to Eternia to find out what happened to He-Man and the Masters when Catra's assault force arrived, and hopefully find a way to cure the Sorceress' bizarre ailment. Captain Majourny, meanwhile, takes the Starship Eternia to Phantos to investigate the captured Horde intelligence that Queen Elmora is secretly building an army with which to fight Horde Prime's empire. Their discoveries will shake their confidence in waging this war, but not without a few surprises from the unlikeliest of places.

Hellfire: Colonel Markson's mission is a success, but his discovery is chilling. He-Man, many of the Masters, and She-Ra and company are alive, but they have been left to rot on the remote planet aptly named Hell. A world of extreme climates, and a fearsomely defensed Horde garrison providing meager rations to the prison population; the only rules are those set by the prisoners. Escape is impossible. Breaking in: suicide. The Guardian Force loves a challenge.

The Val-kyrie: The Guardian Force has pulled off the greatest escape in galactic history, and left a trail of destruction in their wake to prove it. They couldn't have done it without the covert aid of the Val-kyrie; a race of female warriors who live fast, fight hard, and go out in a blaze of glory. Captain Majourny is invited to bring the freed Masters to Val-Kyrie to rest and recover. But the Guardian Force gets more than they bargained for. On top of the female supremecy and the belief that males are inferior, the Guardians are about to be caught in an insurrection brewing between those who want to join the fight against Horde Prime and those who wish to stay out of it.
