"The Law" by Giaconca
(Prose, Script)
This story is a continuation of my first one, He-Man and the sword of power. It involves the Law which states that human blood stabalizes Ancient blood thus Ancients must marry humans and are forbidden from marrying their own kind. It focuses on the consequences of enforcing the Law and breaking the Law. I have brought back a few familiar characters and added some twists. Hopefully it will live up to the first one.

Like many of you I too am a child of the 80's. We were very lucky because we had some cool toys and some cool cartoons. These franchises are still with us today. I noticed that there are many different variations on the He-Man story. I guess that is because the cartoon was created to sell the toys so not much thought went into consistency. What was dissapointing for me was the live action He-Man movie. Since the back story of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is so wide open it leaves it open to various interpretations. My story is just one such interpretation and is the one that would do very well on the big screen. I am no expert on He-Man and am not a die hard fan which I think helped me in writing this story.

The New Force Captain
It has been some time since Adora left the Horde to join the Rebellion, so Hordak hatches a plot to get payback. Catra and several Horde Troopers go to Eternia and kidnap Prince Adam, putting them under a Horde spell. Several of Adam's allies from Eternia are sent to Etheria by King Randor to retrieve Adam. An unlikely battle

Gotham comes to Etheria
This one was a joke, actually. Gotham's craziest villain, The Joker, is busted out of Arkham Asylum by Hordak. Batman is summoned to Etheria to help stop Hordak and The Joker from causing havoc. Skeletor's dreams come true

Another Horde scheme

For want of magic
He-Man and Teela are visiting Etheria. Following not far behind them is Kothos, in his first full length story as a good guy. Kothos is using his magic to help all of the farms on Etheria regain their crops that were destroyed by the Horde. But danger lurks when Hordak plans to kidnap Kothos and use his magic for evil purposes. Can He-Man and She-Ra stop the Horde before it's too late?

This story encompsasses the life and times of a Quaedian named Riika. This story also speaks of the Earth and Sun dying and how the Earth Humans eventually migrate to the Planet Erithos (The planet where Riika and her people exist).

This is the story of a Hero without a land, her family completely killed by the time that she was 13, and her coming of age as a hero. The odds that she seems to face seem nearly insurmountable, yet as her skills and her confidance grows, so does her legend and those that rise against the evil Emperor Bolverk.


The time is around 3300AD in Earth Years, yet Erithos is still very similar to
the time of Feudulist China, around 2000BC.


This is a triliogy and there may be a fourth book as well.

Etheria Mutation features a crossover between the MOTU, POP, and NA worlds. My second fic to take place in the post-NA era, Skeletor and the Mutants are attacking Etheria. Those of us who either always were or became fans of NA through giving the series a second chance know how dumb the Mutants were, so for comic relief, I had them refer to She-Ra in humorous ways. Read it, it's a pretty good one-shot by the master of the one-shots himself, that being me.

In a few days, I'm gonna start posting my He-Man fic. I'm just cleaning up the first chapter now. Below is the basic series overview and a quick overview of each part.

Medea
Medea, adopted daughter of Skeletor, has finally had her first glance of the outside world. Is this enough to make her betray her father and all she has been taught, or will she prove to Skeletor's most faithful minion in the end?

Medea, part one: The Masters meet a mysterious girl who wants to know about the Battle of Kaylore, a battle they wish to forget. (covers 200x He-man season 1)

Medea, part two: The rise of the snake men causes Medea to create a secret alligance with He-Man.

Medea, part three: Women in Eternia are suddenly vanishing. When Teela and Medea go missing, Tri-Klops finds himself helping the Masters in his goal to find answers. What he discovers about Medea and He-Man could spell the doom of the Masters.

Medea, part four: Skeletor fiendishly creates a fake He-Man to sully the good name of the hero.

Medea, part five: Hordak attacks and drags Skeletor to Etheria for punishment for betraying him. Medea and He-Man follow him, both on different missions. Medea wants to save her father, while He-Man must find the owner of a mysterious sword.

Medea, part six: With things calming down on Etheria, Aurora agrees to visit her birth family with her brother. However, they find that Eternia has changed and now Skeletor isn't the biggest threat any more.

Basically, it's about the very last surviving member of Skeletor's race and her quest to find out what really happened during the war before the series started. I use a lot of the 200x He-Man facts with a few of the original. I plan on having it be several parts long. I can't do anything small.

My story. (sorry I'm a little late in posting this she-ra fanfic summary)

Doubt- As shown many times throughout the past she-ra could have easily defeated Hordak; constantly the rebellion infiltrates his base and defeats his cronies with ease, but if the Horde is so easily beaten then why are they still in rule? Why is it that despite she-ra's inhuman strength and access to the most powerful magic on Eternia/Etheria has yet to stop this organization called the Horde? He-man has had plenty of times to defeat/capture skeletor as she-ra has had various time to capture Hordak. Why do they not take these opportunities? Don't these heroes want to save the world or do they purposly allow the villains to roam free just so that they may fight them another day? Finally the Great Rebellion noticies their lack of success and decides to ask these questions.

Summary: The Sorceress has kept her past a carefully guarded secret for the past 20 years and it is time for Castle Grayskull's power to come to light. A retelling of The Secret of the Sword. Written in third person, Adam's point of view.

Beyond Grayskull

When Hordak and King Hiss join forces in an effort to take over Eternia, He-Man and Skeletor are forced into an unsteady alliance. The Masters and Evil Minions are forced to co-operate, only to find that their problems go beyond Castle Grayskull; Adam begins to question how much Teela means to him, whilst a heroic warrior and a servant of Skeletor throw a spanner into the works with an unplanned pregnancy.

After 10 years of bloody internecine warfare between the City of Eternos and allied tribes against Skeletor, Adam has reached a new depth of despair. The deaths of friends, the erosion of Eternian security and wealth, the strain of keeping his secret, and the terrible psychological effects of battle and mistrust have broken Adam's will to continue. Adam abdicates his royal position in his belief that he has found a way to shed the awful burden of his alter-ego, He-Man. He leaves for Greyskull to beg release and mercy from the otherworldly Sorceress, just as Skeletor's vast army march to the very gates of Eternos.

As the main tale of Adam's attrition unfolds, Man-E-Faces battles with his curse, Evil-Lyn schemes to free herself of an old and deadly supernatural bargain, Teela discovers an awesome secret, and Skeletor reveals his ultimate plan.

My entry is the second part of Dark Legacies (a link to the first part can be found in my signature line).

Each of the four parts (all of which have been completed, and will be posted) tells the tale of a different era in Eternia's past, the purpose being two-fold:

1. To explain what actions caused certain characters to become the villains we know and love today; and,
2. To fill in the gaps between the MYP series and the wonderful comics.

A brief recap of each follows:

• Dark Legacies (Part I): The Council of Wisdom is betrayed by one or more of their own. At the same time, a dark god and a newly formed, malevolent army seek to purge King Grayskull's forces from Eternia.
  
• Dark Legacies (Part II): Reeling from a great, personal tragedy, King Grayskull and Queen Veena are nearly driven apart. Meanwhile, with powerful enemies on both fronts, can the Elders maintain harmony on Eternia?
  
• Dark Legacies (Part III): After many years, a powerful evil has reawakened...and she has a son! Eternia's only hope may rest on the shoulders of Randor, a young warrior newly acquainted with sorrow, and a young Sorceress, who must learn how to put the longings of her heart below the importance of defending Castle Grayskull.
  
• Dark Legacies (Part IV): For the first time since the reign of King Grayskull, Eternia has a ruling family, and the Forces of Evil seem to be in-check...but that could prove to be the most dangerous time for Queen Marlena and her newborn children.

Ascension follows the rise of Teela'na and Zodac, starting with their childhood in Preternia. The story is interpreted from the minicomics, while taking elements from cartoon canon. I'm hoping that at its completion it will adequately tie some loose ends up.

For Mountain Of Hyacles: In the ruins of mythical Gorlot, He-Man and the son of Evilseed fight to survive the cruel death-games of Eternia's forgotten war gods,..and the Bitter Rose Trilogy begins! These three tales -Mountain of Hyacles, Night of the Sorceress and The Bitter Rose Quest -were adapted from the first and best of my He-rotica stories, when I was writing under the esteemed nom de plume 'Full Fallen Moon'.

The other two stories are on Savage He-Man now and they're a little racy. I'm trying to figure out a way to post them here without the sexy parts and just haven't gotten around to it yet. Mountain starts a chain of events that nearly destroy Eternia and end He-Man's power forever, and each story has action driven by intense, toe-curling romance.

Hyacles, proud to say, is almost entirely my creation -son of Evil Seed and a flower goddess. I edited out the romance between them years ago, but, in the original, He-Man and Hyacles were lovers. I still think of them as being kindred souls, even soulmates, though no longer in a romantic sense.

Night Of The Sorceress is the second tale in my Bitter Rose Trilogy, chronicling the magic and emotional catastrophes unleashed by events in Mountain Of Hyacles (also online here). In it, the Sorceress must contend with the price of her awesome power and the line she's been forced to walk, between being a goddess and living alone at Castle Grayskull, as a very human woman.

Morning Star's Fall is the first story in a series of tales exploring He-Man's early adventures, when he was still a little bit savage. The wholesale slaughter of his uncle and mentor, King Tamask, and of the warrior order Prince Adam lived with, from age twelve to nineteen, is still very raw in his mind! In a tavern, He-Man tells the sad tale of how the Vulnarian warriors met their untimely end and swears vengeance on Skeletor. This first of eight tales (a collaborative effort) is set after the adventure in He-Man and the Power Sword.

One more thing...Morning Star's Fall is not part of my Bitter Rose Trilogy, but one in a series of unrelated stories inspired by the Golden Books, collectively called Zoar's Nest Tales.

Ram-Man Unbound! is a prose re-telling of He-Man's first meeting with Ram Man, based on a minicomic by the amazing Gary Cohn and artist Mark Texeira. To reunite a father and son, He-Man hunts down the evil warriors of Snake Mountain, when he finds Trap-Jaw is enslaving Eternians to use in the mines of Sybronn. It is one of my favorite Zoar's Nest Tales and, though I didn't have to convert much, adapting the source material to Golden Book Super Adventure universe was a joy.

If you're a fan of the Golden Books, which combined the best elements of the Filmation cartoon and the minicomics, you will enjoy this story.
