So, I wonder if we'll see the Mecha Deluxes over here, and when?

They're currently trying to unload this rubbish on the He-store (see Main Forum). I can only hope Mattel UK will wise up and maybe we'll see a new assortment with the likes of a Repainted Teela, Repainted Syclone, 'the once mentioned' Spike Armour Ram-man, Trap and Smash Orko and Snake Buster MEF.As for the future, Mattel UK has told us that theres one more heroes assortment,
After all, it would be pointless to just re-release exisiting figures which are readily available on red cards.
Bottom line: If the line is going to end here... at least make it 'positive'.
Saving the world... slowly.
I'd like an original Teela and Sy-klone first. I've not been able to find either of these yetOriginally Posted by Turbo Man

Just got back from London and I was passing Hove Woolies which normally has absolutely jack as far as the new line goes...except they'd put out some wave two heroes figures again - and, lo-and-behold, no Ram-Man for once!!
However, I noticed the yellow action-chip sticker on the packing...and they had regular (not Euro) Orko! And three Smash Blade He-Man figures!!
I asked the member of staff there to check for Teela, but there was no sign of her...I understand she was short-packed anyway.
So what's going on? This wasn't part of the shipment in January - can it just have slipped in by mistake or has Mattel done another sort of deal we don't know about yet? It seemed very strange to see them advertising Castle Grayskull Vers. 1...

Well I saw 2 American Orko's in my local Woolworths about 2 weeks ago and they still have both! They probably got the leftovers of what was meant to be sold in America for a cheap price!Originally Posted by Scorpia

No Snakemen yet though, although like someone posted Argos have the MOTU v.s. the Snakemen titled on their website. Just a matter of waiting for the new catalogue on the 24th I guess.

I'd ask them if they have Teela if I were you, Neil - it's unlikely, but a possibility.![]()

I've found mecha bite Panthor in a local Tescos (Sprowston in Norwich)
But I didn't know he was meant to be out yet.
Hopefully that means Tesco haven't quit the line then![]()
Hello U.K. Fans!
I am sorry, for interrupting your thread. My appologies.
I just wanted to gauge some reactions from all of the fans, who still have
access to "MotU" toys.
I am trying to organize another buy a "MotU" figure day. I am happy to select a date that is going to be the most convienent for fans.
Please, let me know, what you think. I just think with all we have seen at the con we have the opportunity to fight for all that we love about "MotU".
Take it easy,
Darren
Its a nice thought, but Im not sure its all that necessary over here.Originally Posted by Fisto
The whole idea of buy a figure day was designed because the line was in so much trouble in the USA. It really isn't in any dangers here... Other than if we run out of new figures and Mattel HQ cant get us this new stuff fast enough for toy stores to still be interested.
I guess we could have a 'Buy a He-man variant' day to try clear some of the excess He-mans![]()
woolworths had all the snakemen repaints (icearmor skele and co) yesterday but wen i went back to get him they all gone!mayb sum ofther around have them!!!

1x He-Man (original)

1x Stratos (original)
1x Buzz Off
1x Mekaneck

Hey everyone, I'm new to the UK and I'm staying at the University of Sussex. Do any of you know where a good place to find MOTU figs are in the Brighton area? Also I've been looking for a Mecha He-man fig, are they easy to find here?
Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg, I'm in Hove and unfortunately He-Man is very much dying down in the Brighton area. TRU in Hove used to be the best place to get them, but they've sold out of pretty much everything now.Originally Posted by eternian phoenix
Last time I looked, Woolies in Brighton Western Road had a few of the new figures, as well as the obligatory Trap Jaws, Mer-Mans etc...and London Road Woolies had some too. It's probably too far to travel, but Sainsbury's in Portslade had *loads* of the new Snake assortments.

Your best bet is Woolworths as they have the Mechas at half price (£4.99)Originally Posted by eternian phoenix
If you can't find one, my Woolworths had a couple left so I could pick you one up. Shipping wouldn't be more than about £3 to ship to you within the U.K.
I'm pretty sure if you look around the Woolworths stores you will find them though.
I've seen around 6 in total of Mecha Blade He-man spread across 2 Woolworths stores (but they are selling fast)
I've only seen 2 Mecha Blade Skeletor figures though (one of them I bought myself)

I know i went there last weekend and all they had was war whales and attack squids for £1.99.Originally Posted by He-Scott

HE-MAN UK Adventure Magazine # 20 and 26
It is a shame that they are not as available as they were. I remember about 6 months ago that woolworths had a big clear out of them for about £3. Ive noticed that several websites are selling the stactions in the UK now.
I got the volume 1 trade paperback from Forbidden Planet in Coventry for £3![]()
They have also re-stocked on wave 1 stactions for £15 a pop.
(sorry for the double post)
I thought this was the most appropriate place to ask, has anyone used www.dvdconcept.com ? Im thinking of ording some R1 dvds from there. What is their delivery time like, and what delivery method do they use?
I think Havoc said he used them. Try asking him.Originally Posted by Vegtablesam

I'd advise sticking with amazon.Originally Posted by Vegtablesam
I used DVD concept a few times. At first, great. Took quite a while for things to arrive.. maybe a week or two after the US release date, but atleast buying from a UK company should mean you don't have to worry about paying import tax right? Wrong. I had a charge slapped on the last Thundercats box set I got from them before xmas, it was delayed almost a month, and complained and got not so much as an acknowledgement let alone an apology.
If you're paying a little extra to avoid customs charges, you shouldn't have to pay an import charge when buying from a UK based company.
What next? It seems every month lately there is something..
I'd like to start this back up again and find out where we can buy motuc in England as I have no idea where to look apart from the forbidden planet
