She-Ra, the Princess of Power
Golden. 1985

No picture available.

Loosely based off the movie The Secret of the Sword, it starts out with Angella and Glimmer fighting the Horde. Force-Captain Adora captures Angella, and is praised by Hordak. Meanwhile, on Eternia, the Sorceress finds the Sword of Protection, and realized that LightHope has finally found Adora. She contacts Adam and explains that he most go to Etheria (even though the book says Eternia!?!). He goes through a portal and helps Glimmer and Bow fight some Horde Troopers (I'd assume, even though thay look nothing like them...) Glimmer tells Adam that Angella has been captured, then Madame Razz flies in (or rather, falls in), and they all go to Beast Island. Adora spots them and orders that her warriors defeat them. Adam becomes He-Man, but is quickly zapped with the Magna Beam. All of a sudden, Adora hears a voice telling her to pick up the Sword of Protection. She does, and falls into a transe. In the meantime, Glimmer frees Angella and He-Man. He-Man shows Adora that Hordak is evil and the jewel in the sword shows Queen Marlena holding twin babies. He-Man becomes He-Man (I guess they forgot that he never became Adam...) and Adora becomes She-Ra for the first time. She transforms Spirit into Swift Wind. Then, the twins go to Eternia for a short visit with their parents. They go back to Etheria and Adora brings Adam to Hordak as a "Prisoner." She then becomes She-Ra and fights off the Horde. After, She-Ra and Adam ride Swift Wind to the Crystal Castle and meet LightHope. He shows her that the Horde has already found another Force-Captain...
