Delora (Stratos' human wife) is abducted to lay as bait for a trap for her husband. Skeletor uses a Wyvern to leave her on a island high in the mountains, surrounded by a lava lake, with Wyverns guarding her (no problem). Meanwhile, Adam uses the palace's collection of scrolls to uncover the location of the island. Stratos, pretending to give himself up, buys time for He-Man, Teela, and Man-At-Arms to go to the Ice Mountains and free his wife. Along the way, they encounter some dwarves who act as their guides, and fight various creatures. Man-At-Arms adjusts the Wind Raider to produce jets of heat which melt the snow, forming steam. This sudden steam reduces visibility for the Wyverns and the group is able to rescue Delora. Stratos, left unguarded by Skeletor's slaves, escapes, and Skeletor is outwitted once again, falling through his own trapdoor into the dungeons.
