The
Power of Point Dread - Danger at Castle Grayskull
Mattel. 1883
Packaged with the Point Dread and Talon Fighter playset
Skeletor's
at it again, and this time he ends up causing King Randor
to be injured by a collapsing pillar, courtesy of He-Man's
good intentions. While the heroes are busy with that,
Skeletor causes two ants to become giant monsters, which
then wreak havoc on the city of Eternia. Man-At-Arms
and He-Man fend off the attack, and He-Man chases after
the insects, in case of another attack. Along the way,
he meets up with Zodac, who tells him that the universal
balance must be kept. Because Skeletor has recently
discovered a half of the Power Sword, Zodac gives He-Man
the Talon Fighter. (Note: He also describes the Ancients
as scientists, not magicians, as well.) As always, Skeletor
is defeated, and the Spirit of Grayskull thanks the
hero.
In
the second story, He-Man and Man-At-Arms are testing
out Man-At-Arms' new spiked mace, when He-Man mentions
Man-At-Arms' other new invention, the Attak-Trak. Man-At-Arms
describes the vehicle as acting "almost as if it
had a mind of its own." Suddenly, Zoar appears,
alerting He-Man, Man-At-Arms, and Teela of Skeletor
once again trying to get into Grayskull. The two men
take the Talon Fighter, while Teela uses the Attak-Trak
to the castle. Along the way, Teela is captured by Man-E-Faces,
who is under Skeletor's spell. Attak-Trak saves the
day, and everyone arrives at Grayskull, stopping Skeletor
and his minions from capturing it.
