Story 1: "Man-At-Arms: Traitor!"
Skeletor has found that Man-At-Arms has created a new
super-weapon, which he wants for his own. He sends Trap
Jaw out into the woods, where Man-At-Arms is walking
with Prince Adam. Trap Jaw overpowers Man-At-Arms with
a hypno-gas, that turns him evil, so Adam sneaks off
and becomes He-Man, then frightens Trap Jaw away. As
Trap Jaw escapes, he just manages to escape with Man-At-Arms
before He-Man can save him. Skeletor tells Man-At-Arms
to build the super-weapon for him. Several days later,
they attack the Royal palace, with Man-At-Arms' new
machine and Skeletor's hovering sun-fire, but He-Man
is acting strangely, and refuses to allow the heroic
warriors to strike back. They grow even more confused
when Man-At-Arms moves the energy beam, destroying the
sun-fire machine. Skeletor flees, and He-Man and Man-At-Arms
then reveal that He-Man had freed Man-At-Arms from the
evil spell just before Trap Jaw had escaped with him.
A rather complex story!
