of the Universe Magazine

Aidan
lost this issue but has one story from it:
"Puzzles
of Peril"
A strange alien space ship lands, and both He-Man and
Skeletor are drawn to it. Skeletor sends Webstor to
investigate the ship, as he knows that Webstor is intelligent
and should be able to handle the task. When He-Man arrives
at the ship, he finds Webstor there- but Webstor tells
him he does not want to fight, he wants them to call
a truce as they investigate the ship. He-Man agrees,
and he and Webstor set about exploring the ship. They
immediately prove a great team- to make their way through
the ship, guided by a voice booming over speakers, they
have to solve lots of complex puzzle- but Webstor's
mind skills and quick thinking helps solve them in no
time. When they finally reach the central chamber, they
find a robot, who reveals that he is from an alien race
which is looking for worlds to invade, but will only
invade worlds where the inhabitants have simple minds
that would be unable to foil their invasion. He-Man
and Webstor have proved intelligent and skilled, so
the alien race will not invade Eternia. He-Man and Webstor
leave the ship, which blasts off into space, and He-Man,
impressed by Webstor's skills, invites Webstor to join
the heroic warriors. Webstor refuses, saying he belongs
with the evil warriors, but He-Man hopes that someday
Webstor will see the error of his ways and change sides.
(For
this story, it's Webstor's strongest story ever, but
obviously one can't rate the whole issue based on one
story.)
