Story 1: "Search for Viper Tower" King Hiss
plans to find his long-lost fortress, Viper Tower. He
asks Skeletor and Evil-Lyn to help him regain his base
and his army. Skeletor takes him, Rattlor and Tung Lashor,
together with Evil-Lyn, down to the cosmic pool where
he freed the Snake Men in issue #27. They find it exactly
as they left it, with the rock He-Man used to plug the
center still in place. But Skeletor, Evil-Lyn and King
Hiss are able to fire their power into the pool, and
the snake army begins to emerge. But Skeletor senses
King Hiss' ambition to rule Eternia, and so he will
not be a powerful rival, Skeletor quickly stops firing
at the pool, and only two members of the Snake army
have emerged- Ssssqueeze and Snake Face. King Hiss tries
to beg Skeletor to unleash just a few more Snake Men,
but Skeletor refuses, and leaves. But King Hiss is still
sure that the Snake Men he has are powerful enough,
and they prepare to conquer Eternia.

Story 2: "The Nowhere Bomb"
He-Man is walking through the woods, when suddenly a
stange apparition appears in fron of him- an image of
She-Ra! She-Ra tells him that he must come to Etheria
quickly. The image quickly fades, and although He-Man
is unsure why She-Ra contacted him in such a strange
way, he runs straight to Grayskull to use the portal.
Webstor is spying on He-Man, and goes and reports to
Skeletor that He-Man has been fooled! It turns out that
the image of She-Ra was in fact created by Evil-Lyn,
and a bomb called the Limbo Bomb has been attached to
He-Man in a recent battle, and will explode when taken
into a dimensional portal, trapping He-Man in a space
vortex. This is exactly what happens when He-Man enters
the portal, and with He-Man gone, Skeletor launches
an attack on Eternos. But when trapped in limbo, He-Man
sees a phantom image of the Fright Zone, and finds that
in this area, the veil between limbo and Eternia is
thinner. He believes that if things from Eternia appear
as phantoms on this side, he will appear as a phantom
on Eternia. So he goes inside the Fright Zone, frightens
Grizzlor, and makes him deliver a message to Eternos
about him being in limbo. So Grizzlor goes and tells
Man-At-Arms that He-Man is in limbo, and Man-At-Arms
gets Orko to use his magic to open a hole in limbo,
releasing He-Man. He-Man fends off the evil warriors,
but knows that he must be much more careful in battles
from now on.
