Orko the Magician
In this issue's comedy strip, Orko tries a spell to conjure up sea lions, but instead conjures up felines.

Feature Story 1: "The Return of Man-E-Faces"
Man-At-Arms is in the process of inventing a new weapon which will save Eternia from doom. But he must try to make sure that the evil forces do not gain it, or Eternia will be doomed. Outside the city wall, Man-E-Faces, who is working for Skeletor, overhears what Man-At-Arms is saying and goes to investigate further. Several weeks later, Man-At-Arms has finished the machine, but it has so much mass that it can not yet be launched into orbit. Man-E-Faces overhears, and goes to report to Skeletor. Orko follows him, and overhears a conversation between Man-E and Skeletor. Orko returns to the palace and tells Man-At-Arms that Skeletor has been using a spell to read Man-E's mind, and get a mental image of the machine so he can make a copy for himself. Adam changes to He-Man, and he, Man-At-Arms and Orko take Man-E to Grayskull. The Sorceress agrees to help them and Orko thinks up a plan, which he shares with the Sorceress as He-Man and Man-At-Arms leave for Snake Mountain. (cont'd in next part)

Feature Story 2: "The Return of Man-E-Faces", Cont'd
He-Man, Orko, Man-At-Arms, and some other warriors advance on Snake Mountain, just as Hordak begins to attack it. He has stolen a copy of the energy machine Skeletor made. But Skeletor emerges and reveals he is aware of Hordak's scheme, and that Hordak has forgotten the energy core, without which the machine is useless. Skeletor has a perfect copy, and he fires it, and the warriors watch in horror, believing Eternia's downfall has come... but Orko has taken care of everything, and instead the machine is totally destroyed. Back at the palace, Orko explains that he used his magic to interfere with the mental waves Man-E-Faces was sending to Skeletor, which made Skeletor press the wrong buttons, so the machine exploded instead. Skeletor, therefore, has assumed the machine was simply at fault. Next day Man-At-Arms fires his rocket into space, to convert the blocked sun's rays into usable light, and Eternia is saved.
