story 1: "A Rip in Time"
Skeletor tells his minions that he intends to use the
winds of time to travel to Eternia's history, which
he shall conquer. But Rattlor is spying on him, and
reports his scheme to King Hiss. King Hiss decides that
he must join Skeletor in the past and change it so that
the Elders never defeat him. As Skeletor is about to
enter the Winds of Time, King Hiss arrives and tells
him he is coming with him. But before they enter, they
are spied by Moss Man- and Beast Man notices him and
they attack him- but Moss Man escapes by jumping into
the Winds of Time! They must follow him. Meanwhile,
He-Man, Extendar and Snout Spout have picked up a warning
signal from Moss Man, and they realise he has entered
the Winds of Time and follow him. When they enter the
past, they find Moss Man flying a pterodactyl-like dinosaur.
He uses the dinosaur to fly them to safety, and the
dinosaur flies them over a village, where the humans
begin to run in fear. They land in the village, and
the people tell them they must go, as the Snake Men
punish anyone who helps strangers. Just then, the Snake
Men attack, but the heroes fend them off. The villagers
still aren't pleased, saying that now the Snake Men
will think they invited the heroes to their village.
Meanwhile, King Hiss and Skeletor have met the King
Hiss of Preternia, but Skeletor senses that they intend
to team up, so he wipes it from the present King Hiss'
memory and teleports them back to the present day. He-Man
tries to convince the villagers that they must fight
back. They are reluctant, but a young boy amongst them
thinks He-Man is right. Meanwhile, the King Hiss of
Preternia (not the one from the present) has heard from
his Snake Men about their defeat, and sets out to crush
them. The Snake Men attack the village, but the heroes
beat them and convince the villagers that maybe they
do stand a chance against the Snake Men after all. He-Man
then tells them that they will beat the Snake Men eventually,
as a powerful wizard will come and banish the Snake
Men. The young boy then says he wants to devote his
life to fighting the forces of evil, and his father
says his chance will come some day... and calls him
Keclar! He-Man recalls that the leader of the Elders
is called Keclar, and realises that this boy must be
the master magician! They return to the winds of time,
and go home.
