Each
Spectrum game may include a screen shot (.scr) of the
title screen and .pok files. The .scr may be viewed
in WSpecEm, and the .pok files are used for cheating
purposes (read them in a text editor). The Z80
is acclaimed by many as the best Spectrum emulator currently
available. This shareware version will play most Spectrum
games, but some games run too quickly in most cases.

The x128 is our
favorite, and it has good speed. [see
usage instructions] We don't really like WSpecEm,
but keep it because it displays all or almost all Spectrum
file types.
