***What Is This Exactly?***
This is the first real attempt at the newsletter for the He-Fans. If you are receiving this letter and don't want it, please tell me so (ctyner@awod.com). If you're getting this and have no earthly idea what I'm talking about...well, someone you know filled out a form on my page and signed you up. Sorry!
***What is OW.JPG?***

Here's a little picture I whipped up especially for this newsletter. It's a picture from my He-Man Gallery Page (thanks to wildcard@hub.ofthe.net and jcs@capri.com for this btw) that I edited in Paint Shop Pro, a really spiffy graphics program (go to http://www.jasc.com for more details). All I did was run spray paint over a small area and placed some text. You should find OW.JPG in the directory where your e-mail program is.
***Web Pages***
I've been informed of 2 new sites: The She-Ra page (http://cac.psu.edu/~jap8/SheRa.html) and the Great Cartoons page which includes many pictures of He-Man and a couple of videos. Due to a screw-upon my part, I've lost the URL for it. The sites that are already up are the original He-Man page (http://www.seas.gwu.edu/student/kmhebert/heman.html) and my pages.
***Stuff Related To My Page***
My updated pages should be up later this month.

I've fixed the blatant Princess Allura error...stupid mistake on my part.

I'm adding an action figure page to my He-Man info. I think it'll just be a listing of characters and vehicles (for interesting stuff about the action figures, you should go to Kevin's page---very nostalgic!). I got the names of these figures from http://www.nuke.com/hero/pguide/toys/masters.txt and I wanted to make sure nothing was left off. Also, if you could send me the names of the vehicles and playsets, that would be phenomenal too!

The response to my question and answer page has been phenomenal! Thanks, guys!

If you have any pictures or anything you'd like to contribute, I'd really appreciate it!

Finally, I've organized my He-Man links page so that it's a little morebearable.

***Getting He-Man Action Figures***
Without a doubt, the question I'm asked most frequently is "how can I getHe-Man toys?" Well, here are some ways I've found:

Try posting to rec.toys.misc, rec.arts.sf.marketplace, or rec.collecting.
Some web sites you may want to try are the Figure Finder at the Action Figure Times (http://www.primenet.com/~btn/aft.html), the Collectible Trader (http://158.93.29.52/Trade.html), or submitting an ad to the Action Figure Web Page (http://www.aloha.com/~randym/action_figures/ads/submit.html).

***Chatting about He-Man on the Internet***
There are 2 ways for He-Fans to chat on the Internet so far.

1) I've made a channel on IRC (EfNet) for He-Man (#he-man). You can find me there as He-Man (or a slightly different nick). I use irc.cris.com (6667) as my server. For IRC software, go to http://www.shareware.com and searchfor "IRC". Personally, I use mIRC32 for Win95.

2) Pow Wow v. 2.0 b1 has recently been released! Plans are in the works for our very own He-Man tribe (if all goes well) or maybe our own Conference! To get Pow Wow, go to http://www.tribal.com/powwow/download/ and connect to ctyner@awod.com. To see if I'm on-line, go to http://www.awod.com/htbin/f.pl (temporarily down). Pow Wow is currentlyonly available for Windows 3.1 or higher.

***Other Stuff***
This is my first attempt at a newsletter, but I hope you like it! I'd love to know what you think, and I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions youmay have.

Thanks!
