First, we'd like to apologize for the site being down yesterday. Our host server had technical difficulties. Even their own site was down! Thank you for your patience and continued patronage!

Call Mattel if you want She-Ra!
Starting today through Thursday, April 1, 2004, fans everywhere are calling Mattel to let them know they want a She-Ra figure.
If you want a She-Ra and can't make it to a convention, then take a few moments out of your schedule to call and let them know! It's so easy!
It makes a difference.
Thanks to your efforts, Mattel is currently working towards resolutions for more Masters for the collector's market.
Now let's work towards a She-Ra for all!

Masters of the Universe classic Filmation rights change hands again!
Entertainment Rights, a UK based company, has announced that it was purchasing Hallmark's Filmation library of characters, which include He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe.
We don't know what this means for the classic property, but we have our hunches that it might have something to do with DVD rights.
We'll post details as they become available.

The He-Man.org Forums are back online!

Emiliano and Enza produced some special pinups to auction off to help raise money to put towards the cost airfare to the San Diego Comic Con. Three pin-ups are up for grabs. We'll be adding more soon!

The Snake Men have returned!
With rumblings of new things for Masters happening this year, Mattel now has the Snake Men waves back in stock!
The He-Store has plenty of cases of the Snake Men figure waves, Snake Armor Battle Fist, and Battle Bones in stock and ready to ship starting the beginning of April (sooner if we can get these puppies boxed up quicker).
All existing orders on file (that were not previously cancelled) will be processed as well!
The heroes wave, the villains wave with Rattlor, and the villains wave with Kobra Khan are piled up, and all ready to move at the low He-Store cost of 46.99 a case (only 7.83 a figure)!

Fans demand She-Ra!
Fans are joining together to call Mattel on Monday, March 29th through Wednesday, March 31st.
If you want a She-Ra figure, have no way of getting to a convention and just don't want to pay outrageous eBay prices, then let your voice be heard!
The previous petition made an impact on Mattel (things are being discussed internally on how they can bring Masters to collectors and fans).
So if you want to have a She-Ra for your own, then don't delay!
Call Mattel any time from 8:00am EST / 5:00am PST to 6:00pm EST / 3:00pm PST March 29th through March 31st!
Tell them you are a fan who wants a She-Ra figure.
Let them know you cannot make it to a convention.
Inform them that you wish that He-Man.org or someone else could provide you with a She-Ra at cost.
With your opinion voiced, He-Man.org will also work with Mattel in hopes of making She-Ra available to all!

Fisto... we mean, Battle Fist... chase surfaces!
Yes folks, there is a Battle Fist chase figure. Rumors have been circulating over the past couple of months about a Battle Fist figure painted with traditional figure colors.
Mattel confirms that this is indeed a chase figure.
It can been found randomly inserted into Snake Men heroes case 508!
Keep your eyes peeled! And beware of eBay!
As more and more of these figures become available, prices will drop. So don't fall for any hype about Battle Fist being an ultra rare chase!

Over 13,000 fans and counting! Add YOUR name to the list!
The support for Masters of the Universe continues to grow. If you haven't signed the petition, please take a few moments of your time and do so. We can keep this line going for fans and collectors! And your voice will make a difference! The more signatures we have, the better our chances!
Know of another fan who would want to keep Masters going?

Please help send Enza and Emiliano to 2004 San Diego International Comic Con!

Cons are expensive... REALLY expensive. Thousands and thousands of dollars.
What's worse is travel. We're all broke as a joke, and we're having a hard time getting the money together to help Emiliano and Enza (the pencillers of the Masters of the Universe comic) pay the cost of their tickets to the US, which are roughly $2800.00!
Yeah, we were shocked too.
So, Emiliano and Enza produced some special pinups to auction off to help raise money to put towards the cost of the tickets. Three pin-ups are up for grabs. We'll be adding more soon!
Please check them out and consider bidding. None of us could afford to go to San Diego in 2003. But we all want Emiliano and Enza at this year's con.
Thank you for checking out the auctions!

He-Man.org would also like to wish webmaster Matt Tyree a happy birthday!

The He-Store has 20 cases of the cool Snake Armor child-size accessory in stock. This thing is pretty slick! You hit the red button and a mechanized blade slides out of the top, making a noise as it does. You can pick up a case of 3 for only $39.99! Share a case with friends, sell the rest, or just fill up your closet with a bunch of 'em!
Also, look for more Skeletor statues to show up soon at the $154.99 price!

NECA's Dedication to Customer Service

To our loyal customers,

We have noticed a problem in a small batch of Skeletor Statues that shipped from our distribution centers in the last two weeks. This batch accidently slipped through our quality control department, and were shipped by mistake.

We have delayed any additional shipments until each piece is checked in our main office to insure you receive the best quality product possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, and assure you that we are correcting the problem.

If you have received a piece that you are not happy with, you may either return it to the place of purchase, or email us at MOTUreplace@necaonline.com and we will arrange to have the piece picked up at our expense and have a new piece delivered to you when they are ready.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have experienced a problem with your Four Horsemen statue or bust. You satisfaction is very important to us.

Joel Weinshanker
President

NECA has also provided information about the AP Skeletor statue.
They will begin shipping the AP Skeletor statues at the end of this week. The reason for delay in the shipment of the AP Versions is that each AP is opened and inspected in NECA's NJ office before they ship them to you.
If you ordered one, keep your eyes peeled!

Big news today from Mattel.
In their continuing effort to keeps fans updated, Mattel has answered the latest round of What Fans Want to Know with some important info.

Mattel PR and 2004 Con Exclusive!

Fans had a lot of questions to ask in round 9.0 of WFWTK. But because so many were very specific questions, especially in terms of new figures, Mattel has touched base on almost all fan concerns with a summary of events. Here is what they had to say:

"We're sad to report that Masters is no longer at US mass retailers. It's definitely not due to Mattel's lack of interest, but because of lackluster sales that led to no support in Spring 2004.

The new line of Snake Men are currently being distributed through websites, magazines, and specialty retail stores. This will continue to be the case in the future for US sales.

The future of the cartoon will be determined at a later date. Ratings were average in the US. However the show continues to do extremely well internationally.

We are still working through the details on DVDs. Whatever cartoons are released via DVD would be packaged as sets in the US. That's all we can say at the moment. International fans should not be discouraged by this.

There is still full support for the international market. It is unfortunate how Masters has performed in the US. But as long as international sales continue as they are, we will continue the line internationally. We are even getting ready to shoot commercials for Spitbull and the Mecha Crunch Action figures.

Toys that have only been released internationally will probably not make it to the US. But you never know what can be imported by various retailers.

And there is still hope for US fans. We have a number of figures sculpted that have never seen the shelves. Snake Armor He-man is one example. If the interest continues to grow, we may be able to ship them to US specialty retailers interested in carrying the line. There are a number of figures from the Four Horsemen that have never been seen that we would love to see produced and in the hands of fans across the globe."

So there you have it!
Mattel has been keeping an eye on fans and have listened to phone calls, to e-mails, and the petition. They definitely want to keep Masters going.

International fans have a lot to cheer for!
And for US fans, stores (including the He-Store) can all pool together to import figures from Europe or other countries. And if we continue to voice our support, maybe nothing will have to be imported at all. But it all depends on getting the word out and making sure all fans stand up and shout!

Make sure you spread the word about the petition.
And make sure you call and e-mail Mattel to show your support!
International Mattel Offices - Phone & Address Contact Info
USA Mattel Offices - Phone Contact Info
USA Mattel E-Mail Feedback Form
It DOES make a difference.

But what about this year's convention exclusive?
A lot of fans will jump for joy!...
SHE-RA HAS RETURNED!
Check out this rough color mockup over the current Four Horsemen sculpt!

She-Ra

Yes, it borrows from the Teela figure, and the colors overlayed are a bit rough around the edges (especially on the face).
But in true Four Horsemen style, it looks incredible!
We can't wait to see the final version!

Now, don't go spreading rumors about She-Ra coming to the cartoon, or a new Princess of Power toy line.
This is only She-Ra as a figure, and that's it. Will there be more? Well, you need to let Mattel know if you want more.

Also, we're sure some of you felt your heart sink because it's a con exclusive.
But all we'll say is don't let the fact that it's a con exclusive discourage you.
Mattel has told us that they are upping production numbers for She-Ra in light of last year's demand for Keldor.

She-Ra will be available at Wizard World Chicago and the San Diego International Comic Con... and anywhere else? Well, maybe! But we suggest considering coming to a show to get yours!
Mattel will be there, the Four Horsemen will be there, MVCreations will be there, and more!
There's a lot to see and do and people to meet, all in addition to getting She-Ra!...a figure many of us have asked for year after year!
We know we can't wait for summer of 2004!

Multiple reports have come in about Issue 4 of the new UK Masters of the Universe comic hitting stands. This issue comes with a free Man-at-Arms puzzle! UK fans should keep an eye out!

TheToyRoom.com has reviewed the Spitbull and opened up two new sections:
Cartoon Appearances
and Comic Appearances
Each section allows you to find out what episode or comic each character has made an appearance in. And it doesn't stop with just characters! Included are vehicles, places on Eternia, magical items, secondary characters, creatures, and even the various races that make up Eternia's population. Lastly, TheToyRoom.com is holding a random give-away of a MIB ToyFare Exclusive Snake Teela in honor of St. Patrick's Day!
Check it out!

Masters of the Universe Cancelled?
No.
There are a lot of sites reporting that Masters of the Universe has ended.
This is not true. Many of these sites talked with sales reps on the Toy Fair floor who are not privy to the behind-the-scenes workings of Mattel. This is usually the way of large companies.
We point to Mattel Customer Service as an example of this, who swore to almost everyone who called that Masters would be at Toy Fair.
He-Man.org has recently had some contact with the decision makers at Mattel. And while they cannot offer any news yet on the future of the line, it is evident that they are very aware of MOTU's popularity and have also seen the petition.
Mattel is still discussing what can be done, as Masters continues to sell well internationally and has a large US collector's fan base.
Don't let these reports sway your opinion of the new line, and don't let them discourage your support.
He-Man.org has had its finger near the pulse of this line since it was launched, and we wouldn't steer you wrong.
So please continue to show your support, please continue to call and e-mail Mattel to let them know you still want MOTU, and spread the word about the petition!
We'll post more news as it becomes available.

Masters of the Universe, Volume 3 is coming!
Issue 1 will be a bit late, but a lot is in store for Volume 3!
Click here for important news and awesome images from the comic!

The He-Man.org Fan T-Shirts are a go!
Thanks to all the fans who chipped in to make the shirts a reality.
They weren't cheap, but at least we got enough orders to pay for their printing.
In a little over a month from now, shirts should be on the way to the door step of all who ordered one.
He-Man.org be doing a poll (based on the thread asking what fans would like to see on a shirt) about what the next design will be. Keep an eye out for that thread in the New Masters Discussion forum!

The Ram Man bust is now available for preorder on the He-Store for only 29.99!
This bust is not due to ship until some time this summer, but you can insure you'll get yours as soon as it is available.
Click here or on the He-Store link in the upper left to preorder today!

Skeletor Statues are shipping!
NECA has notified the He-Store that the Skeletor statues have begun to ship.
Some retailers on the west coast have just received their shipment.
Since the He-Store is on the east coast, NECA says they should be here in about two weeks.
After that, they are on their way to you!
We might have a few more statues to put up for sale. So keep your eyes peeled. When they go up, they will disappear lightning fast!

The He-Store offers some of the best prices around, where the sales help pay for MVCreations operations and running He-Man.org. There have been a few hiccups along the way for which we apologize. But hopefully there will be new toys soon where the He-Store can provide them to you as quickly as they are produced. We thank everyone who has bought from the He-Store. You are helping to keep things alive for MV and this site, which provides fans with news and the largest community online for MOTU, POP, and NA!

He-Man.org Update!
Some of you may have noticed that the New Adventures toy section is open but still under construction. Only a few more toys to shoot and get put in place before that section is complete. We're still cranking on big a update to the 2002 MotU toy line section. This update will catch you up on all the very latest items that have been released. In fact, only a handful of the items listed will be unavailable. These are items that we have not yet gotten to photograph. But, we'll have them soom. To follow the 2002 update is the Classic MotU section and then the POP section. So, check the toy section often! Our intern is rolling through this stuff and will be uploading new sections within the next couple weeks. Thanks, as always, for your patience and patronage!

February 16

Various reports have come in from Toy Fair 2004 about the status of Masters of the Universe. The only bad thing is that it seems each report is a bit different and no one knows for certain what is happening.
At this time, He-Man.org is awaiting for an official press release from Mattel about the future of MOTU so we all know exactly what is going on.

Some clarification on the new Evil-Lyn bust by the Four Horsemen and NECA.
Due to legal reasons, the Evil-Lyn bust with classic colors is no longer the AP (Artist Proof) bust. It is now the Limited Edition Collector's Club Exclusive Evil-Lyn bust.
It is still limited to 500 pieces, and you can click here to preorder it.
The AP Evil-Lyn is now a regular Evil-Lyn with a gem change. It will feature a turquoise gem instead of a purple gem.
It is limited to 250 pieces, and you can click here to preorder it.
And the regular edition Evil-Lyn, limited to 2500 pieces, is available to preorder at most online and specialty retailers including the He-Store.
So a quick recap:
Limited Edition Collector's Club Exclusive Evil-Lyn - Classic Colors - Limited to 500
Artist Proof Edition Evil-Lyn - Turquoise gem - Limited to 250
Regular Edition Evil-Lyn - Purple gem - Limited to 2500

Thanks to everyone who participated in yesterday's Batman Trivia contest!
We haven't heard how it went. But we hope it was a success, and that a Masters of the Universe trivia contest may be right around the corner!
