Following
the tremendous success this past year of the DVD distribution
of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,
BCI,
a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation, entered
into a long-term distribution agreement with Entertainment
Rights PLC (“ER”) for certain titles within
its Filmation portfolio of classic contemporary characters.
The first release in this new agreement will be the popular
brand She-Ra: Princess of Power. A two-disc
“Best Of” collection, featuring the top five titles
that will be voted on by fans, as well as the 1985 feature
film The Secret of the Sword, will be available
July 18th, and premiering at San
Diego International Comic Con. The releases will continue
over the next 12 months, as BCI releases three additional
volumes of the She-Ra series, covering all 93 original episodes.
“The
fan reaction to the He-Man series over the past nine months
has been nothing short of extraordinary,” said Glass.
“They have consistently conveyed two defining messages:
‘your He-Man releases are top-notch’ and ‘when
will you be releasing She-Ra?’”
In
addition to the feature film The Secret of the Sword, The
Best of She-Ra: Princess of Power will feature the
five best episodes of the series, as voted on by fans that
visited www.he-man.org, and will include

Beginning
in the fall, BCI will start releasing the complete, 93 episode
series in three separate volumes, each containing a variety
of extras.
Working
alongside ER, BCI will implement an innovative marketing and
promotional campaign throughout 2006, capitalizing on the
popularity of the She-Ra brand. This program follows the successful
promotion and marketing of He-Man, which has been released
on DVD as well as Universal Media Disc (UMD) for Sony PSP.
BCI will be expanding the reach of She-Ra beyond that of He-Man
by tapping into its large female fan base.
BCI
has once again retained the services of consultants, MVCreations'
Emiliano Santalucia, James Eatock, and Adam Tyner, and best-selling
author Andy Mangels, who were highly instrumental in the production
of the He-Man DVD, specifically the added collectible features.
The She-Ra series will also enlist the aid of MVCreations'
Alex Hawkey and Alessandra Fucarino.
She-Ra:
Princess of Power first aired on television in 1985, as a
female-directed spin-off of the popular He-Man and the Masters
of the Universe, which was into its second season.

It
looks like the Easter bunny has brought He-Fans a present!
No need to wait until Monday to see these images.
You
all have waited a long time for these photos, so the Four
Horsemen won't delay any longer with a bunch of text. Besides,
when you see these guys, the Four Horsemen think you'll agree
that words aren't necessary. Without further adieu, the Four
Horsemen present the final two members of NECA and the Four
Horsemen's MOTU Mini-Statues Wave 4... Leech
and Webstor!
Plus, check out the two group shots at the end! One showing
the big boys of the Staction series, and another with the
Evil Horde thus far!

Summer’s
coming up quick, so all of us fanboys and fangirls know what
that means…Summer Convention Season!!
Over
the past couple of years NECA and the Four Horsemen have offered
up exclusive Masters of the Universe items at both the San
Diego Comic Con and Wizard
World Chicago. This year is going to be a little different.
They
are not offering one, but two different Masters
of the Universe exclusives that will be available in these
forms nowhere else except at NECA’s
booth at the San Diego Comic Con and Wizard World Chicago!
First,
after a long hiatus, the Masters of the Universe Micro-Busts
make their triumphant and possibly very brief return to the
limelight with the release of Teela, Mekaneck and Man-at-Arms
Micro-Busts! These will be sold exclusively at NECA’s
SDCC and WWC booths as an extremely limited, boxed three-pack!
No word yet if this series will continue again after the release
of these babies, so be sure to get your hands on these tiny
slices of MOTU history while you still can!
Next
up, NECA and the Four Horsemen are proud to offer the Classic
Colors Evil-Lyn Mini-Statue! Again, this very limited version
of this Mini-Statue will only be available for purchase at
NECA’s SDCC and WWC booths. If you know anything about
past MOTU convention exclusives, then you know that this is
one convention exclusive that you don’t want to miss!
Now
this version of Evil-Lyn isn’t just a re-cast of the
Evil-Lyn toy from a couple of years ago. Not only does this
version have a classic colors paint scheme, but all of the
parts that were once re-used from Teela for the action-figure
have all been replaced with parts that are all Evil-Lyn’s
very own! She also comes equipped with a fragment of the Shard
of Darkness around her neck, as
seen in Volume One of the comic from MVCreations!
This is the way Evil-Lyn was meant to be: fiery yellow, cold
blue and totally evil!
Got
your convention passes? Got your plane tickets? Got your hotel
rooms? If not, this is your last warning. We’d hate
to have to send Evil-Lyn after you….
Plus, what you've been waiting for... check back this Monday
to see the grand debut of Webstor and Leech from Wave 4 of
the 6" Mini-Statue line!

The
next few days are going to be pretty exciting for MOTU fans!
As
you can see with the images below, the Four Horsemen just
got final production samples of the MotU Mini-Statues from
Wave 3, and they were so excited about them that they just
couldn’t wait to take some shots of them, along with
the previous 2 waves for comparison so they could share them
with you guys!
The
job that NECA is doing in production with these Mini-Statues
is some of the best work the Four Horsemen has ever seen from
any company. Every sculpted detail is there. Every paint application
is adeptly applied. The varying bulk and heights are exactly
what they had in mind when re-imagining this line over 6 years
ago!
Tongue
Lashor is HUUUUUGE! The monstrosity that he was meant to be!
This guy would give General Rattlor or King Hsss themselves
a run for their money!
Sorceress
is gorgeous! The paint details on her face are so well done
that she almost seems alive! Check out those bright, vibrant
eyes! And the subtle coloring on her cheekbones and eyebrows
is simply outstanding! Don’t forget to pre-order your
Exclusive Classic Colors Sorceress Mini-Statue from Action
Figure Xpress if you haven’t already! They’re
going fast and will be gone soon! Just go here: http://www.shopafx.com/maofunexso6s.html
Click
here to order yours!
Mantenna
couldn’t look more menacing! From the vibrant colors
of his armor to the perfect application of gloss on his enormous
eyes and salivating mouth, this guy must have been a painter’s
nightmare.
Also coming soon is the long awaited photo debut of the final
2 characters in Wave 4 of the MotU Mini-Statues line –
Webstor and Leech!
The
figures are painted, the final touches are being put on their
accessories, and if everything goes as planned, the Four Horsemen
should have photos right here on He-Man.org in under a week!
You guys have held your breath long enough for these guys.
It’s time to let you come up for air. Because once you
see them, the Four Horsemen think you’ll be breathless
all over again.
Also,
in the next couple of days you’re going to finally be
finding out who NECA and the Four Horsemen have in store to
be this Summers’ MotU Convention Exclusives! Nope, that’s
not a typo…”exclusiveS”. This Summer’s
going to be doubly hot, because NECA and the Four Horsemen
are soon going to be announcing not one, but TWO MotU Summer
Convention Exclusives!
You’ve
been waiting for your MOTU fix for quite a while now. Your
MOTU pushers are here to oblige!

Would
you like to own a piece of new MOTU history?
We have access to one of the painted covers from the new comic
book series that was painted by Tommy Lee Edwards. You
can click here to check it out.
This
is one of MV's favorite covers from the series, and it's being
offered at what we feel is a fair price when you consider
the going cost of painted art from established professional
artists.
It's a pretty good size piece (we don't have the dimensions
handy) and stunning in person.
And with Tommy Lee Edwards now having his Marvel exclusive
contract, his work is only going to become more valuable as
time goes on.
It's
rare that a piece like this goes up for sale.
If you are interested, please contact us via the Contact
Us link on the left hand side of this page.
This is a unique item so it's not cheap. But for one-of-a-kind
paintings like this, we see it as an investment.
Please, serious inquiries only.

We
hope to have the results posted on the 5 fan favorite POP
eps soon!
BCI is ironing out some details on a press release. Keep checking

Check out the March 14th news for more info on how to enter.
***Now
for a very important matter concerning He-Man.org.*** 10 years have passed here at He-Man.org. And here
we are, with the site never as complete as we wanted it to
be. It's time that changed.
For
the past year, we've had a fantastic PHP database driven overhaul
on the drawing boards but work has always gotten in the way
of any major development progress.
Emiliano Santalucia has laid out visual design specs for each
section, and a fantastic flowchart which pieces the site together
in a more complete and easier to navigate fashion.
Only problem is, programming is very time consuming and...
well... we only have a couple guys here who really know PHP
and they have very limited time to work on the site.
So,
we're putting out the call to fans with awesome PHP database
programming skills!
We need your help. Much like many of you, we're tired of not
having this site finished.
We have a game plan and need work horses who liked to be kicked
around and treated with thankless demands! Okay, it won't
be quite that bad.
It's
all about fans lending a helping hand, so there's no money
to be made.
But we won't let your efforts go unappreciated. You'll be
permanently enshrined in our credits page for your work (you
can use it on your resume... seriously!), and we'll dig up
some cool MOTU swag to give you for free. It won't be a boatload
of expensive stuff, but we'll be sure to give ya something
nice.
Maybe we can even talk Emiliano into doing a free commission
for your help.... we should probably ask Emiliano if that's
okay, but hey, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it!
So
if you are a web guru and a veritable PHP god, with spare
time to burn, and desire to take He-Man.org to the next level,
then send us an e-mail through our contact section!
We're eager to hear from you!
Thanks!!!

With
NECA's Collector's Club now offering limited AP Tri-Klops
and AP Sorceress statues for sale, fans have been asking what's
different about these AP statues (AP stands for Artist Proof,
generally an early production run created to check for quality
of the forthcoming production).
In the past, AP statues had a physical change in the statue
to denote it was an AP. In the case of the Skeletor statue,
it was the color of the jewel on his chest harness. On Clawful,
it was the color of the symbol on his belt.
But starting with the AP Sorceress and AP Tri-Klops statue,
there will be no physical changes to the statues.
Instead, they will focus on what the APs were always intended
to be. And that's the first statues cast in the run, each
individually inspected by NECA after arriving in the US to
insure quality. The APs will be numbered as APs so, as usual,
they stand out from the regular run, and they are more expensive.
They are only available through NECA.

She-Ra: Princess of Power makes its DVD debut this
summer!
Your votes needed
to pick the best episodes! (read on to vote)
Following
the tremendous success this past year of the DVD distribution
of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,
BCI,
a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation, entered
into a long-term distribution agreement with Entertainment
Rights PLC (known to us fans as ER for short) for certain
titles within its Filmation portfolio of classic contemporary
characters.
The
first DVD release in this new agreement will be the popular
cartoon She-Ra: Princess of Power which will
premiere July 18th at the 2006
San Diego Comic-Con International with a two disc “Best
Of” collection,
featuring the top five titles selected by you, the fans,
as well as the 1985 feature film “The Secret of the
Sword” which was made up of the first five episodes
of the She-Ra: Princess of Power cartoon.
The agreement will continue over the next 12 months, as BCI
releases three additional season set volumes of the She-Ra
series, covering all 93 original episodes.
The
announcement was made today by Greg Glass, Senior Vice President,
BCI.
“The fan reaction to the He-Man series over the past
nine months has been nothing short of extraordinary,”
said Glass. “They have consistently conveyed two defining
messages: ‘your He-Man releases are top-notch’
and ‘when will you be releasing She-Ra?’”
The
Best of She-Ra: Princess of Power will feature the
five best episodes of the series, based solely on votes from
fans visiting He-Man.org.
Special features will include a documentary featuring interviews
with a variety of talent involved with the original series,
including voice-over actors, artists and those working behind
the scenes.
Additional features will include an art card, character profiles,
trivia questions about the series, interactive storyboards
and original scripts.
Beginning
in the fall, BCI will start releasing the complete, 93 episode
series in three separate volumes, each containing a variety
of extras.
She-Ra: Princess of Power first aired on television in 1985,
as a spin-off of the popular He-Man and the Masters of the
Universe which was into its second season at the time.

promotional campaign throughout 2006, capitalizing on the

It's hard to believe, but He-Man.org has been around for 10
years.
Well, the actual He-Man.org
URL became active in early 1999.
But the site lived on before that starting in 1996 at another
URL when it was created by Adam Tyner and later combined with
another great site created by Matt R.
So we consider it 10 years, since it's the same site.
And what better way to celebrate 10 years than with a bunch
of prizes to say thanks for visiting and supporting this site
all these years?
First
off, we need to thank the generous folks out there who have
donated prizes to this giveaway. In no particular order:
The
Four Horsemen. Cornboy Mayse, Jim
Preziosi, Eric Treadaway, Chris
Dahlberg and Shane Dittsworth
are some of the hardest working sculptors out there. And
on top of that, they care about what their fans have to
say and bend over backwards to give them what they want.
They have given us some of the best redesigns of MOTU that
most fans could have hoped for. Simply put, these guys are
beyond incredible.
The
Cafe Wha? This online store is run by Josh Van
Pelt, who is also one of the biggest MOTU collectors
on the face of the planet. He's been there behind the scenes
in a major way when He-Man.org needed help, and he continues
to help today.
Graham
Crackers Comics. These guys, especially Jimmy
Hayes and John Robinson, were
(and still are) huge supporters of the new MOTU comic from
MVCreations. Even today, they have one of the best selections
of MOTU comics available online to order. If you missed
out on the new comic, then click on their link to see that
selection.
Mattel.
Yep, even Mattel chipped in. See? Some of you out there
are thinking they are bad guys, but they really do care
about MOTU. Especially Geoff Walker, who
still supports MOTU and He-Man.org today. Geoff has been
behind the scenes helping on a great number of things, but
never wants any credit. It's about time he got some. If
you are ever at a convention, make sure to go to the Mattel
booth and ask for Geoff Walker so you can give him your
thanks for all that he has done to help with MOTU. He's
one of the good guys.
The
prize give-away will be done in two parts.
The first part is a give-away just for He-Man.org members.
We figure that all the fans out there who have joined the
site, posted on the forums, and been an active member of this
online family for a long time deserve some special recognition.
These winners have already been picked and contacted, so there's
no use rushing off and signing up in hopes of just winning
a prize! Ain't gonna work!
We'll be announcing those random winners later.
See? You should have been a member! Registration is free,
we don't give out your contact info and He-Man.org has one
of the best fan communities online! Sure, our forum guidelines
are strict. But it makes for a friendly environment that people
come back to time and time again.
Random

AFX
and He-Man.org have been teamed up for a
while to bring MOTU products to fans across the US.
But many international fans have been looking for a retailer
with cheaper USPS
shipping, because UPS and FedEx can be pretty expensive.
Well, now that option is here.
He-Man.org is adding another retailer to its sponsor list:
Gue Toys
Gue Toys is He-Man.org's choice for international fans.
If you live outside of the US, and are looking to pick up
the statues from the Four Horsemen and NECA, then please click

And
remember, if you want to support He-Man.org, you need to click
on those links before you order.
Just going to their site won't support He-Man.org. You need
to click on the special links from here on our main page so
all orders are tracked.
And that goes for any order you wish to make at their site.
Just click on the links here on our main page any time you
want to order something from their stores.
It's the same price for you, and helps keep this site up and
running!
Thanks so much for your support!
But
there's more!
The Sorceress is a character fans have been
waiting for since the new toy line debuted.
You can order her in her current 15" statue form, her
upcoming 6" mini-statue form and one
more upcoming version!
Say hello to the 6" AFX and He-Man.org exclusive
Sorceress with classic colors!
(link will be active tomorrow for ordering)
This
variant was created to help support He-Man.org while bringing
an ultra cool version of the Sorceress to life.
Many of you may not know that the color scheme given to the
Sorceress in the new cartoon was not what the Four Horsemen
originally envisioned. This variant is not only more accurate
to what the Four Horsemen originally had in mind, but it pays
an important homage to the original Sorceress.
Please click on this link to preorder to 6" AFX

He-Man.org
has updated its chatroom!
We are now running our own chat server specifically for MOTU
and POP fans.
And you don't have to be a member of the forum to come in
and chat live with fellow fans! Just
click on this link to read how to access the chatroom.
Stop on by any time. Someone is usually in there. But the
chatroom tends to be most active each night around 10pm EST.
Just a note, though. Most of the time, people in the chatroom
aren't talking about He-Man. So if you're looking to discuss
something specifically MOTU or POP related, the forums are
the best place for that.
But if you like just shooting the breeze about anything under
the sun and moon with fellow fans, then the chatroom is the
place for you!
So come on by and say hey! It's like going to a party without
having to leave your house.

The Four
Horsemen and NECA
have revealed Wave 4 of the 6" Statue line!
Lock
up your doors, hide the kids, and grasp tightly to whatever
lucky talismans you have on hand. Because this wave was designed
with evil in mind! The Four Horsemen and NECA are proud (and
somewhat frightened) to announce the identities of their Masters
of the Universe Mini-Statues Wave 4!
The
first image of one of the creepy denizens of MotU Mini-Statues
Wave 4,
Snake Face the most gruesome of the Snakemen,
was revealed months ago. Now the time has come to reveal the
identities of the final two members of this dark wave.
Emerging
from the darkest, webbed corners of Snake Mountain comes Skeletor's
evil master of escape, Webstor!
Webstor will come with a purple base and character specific
accessories.
And
last, creeping from the swamps of Eternia comes possibly the
most vile and ruthless of Hordak's Evil Horde, Leech the evil master of power suction!
Included with Leech will be a red base and his signature weaponry.
The
Four Horsemen and NECA plan to release fully painted photos
of the wave in the next few weeks, so be sure to check back
for more info!
S2V1 of the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
cartoon makes its way to DVD on June 6th!
That's right, the third release in the series (Season Two

Four
Horsemen announce renewal and continuation of the Masters
of the Universe busts and statues license from Mattel!
Many fans have been questioning what the fate might be of
the last surviving MotU license currently available:
the Masters of the Universe busts and statues license from
NECA and Four Horsemen Studios.
Well, all of you die-hard MotU fans can now breathe easy.
Because the Four Horsemen are proud and excited to announce
that Mattel has graciously awarded the renewal and continuation
of the Masters of the Universe busts and statues license to
NECA
and the Four Horsemen once again!
With
the recent success of the MotU Mini-Statues line, NECA and
the Four Horsemen plan to return to the roots of this license
and continue to produce new full sized (14"-15")
statues, and mini-busts to compliment the ongoing waves of
6" Mini-Statues!
The full sized statues of both Tri-Klops
and the Sorceress are currently in production,
and will be released sometime in the late-Spring to mid-Summer
2006 time frame with new mini-busts and statues to follow
soon after.
Although
the Four Horsemen won't have any huge revelations at Toy Fair,
they will have plenty of announcements and images to share
in the next couple of months, so stay tuned!
Keeping with our story from January 11th,
Round 5 of voting for the Four Horsemen Toy Design's fan based
action figure design process - FANtastic Exclusive 2006 -
is beginning.
In round 4 of voting, action-figure fans had the chance to
pick their favorite styles of articulation for the upcoming
exclusive action figure. As voting for round 4 winds down
and they continue to tabulate those votes, it's time to get
voting for round 5 rolling!
Although the 7th Kingdom: Minotaur character (chosen by fans
in the first and second rounds of voting to represent FANtastic
Exclusive 2006) will come with the same double-headed axe
accessory that he wields in the original design drawing,
a secondary, hand-based weapon accessory will also be included.
And YOU get the chance to choose which weapon it's going to
be.
Just stop by the FANtastic
Exclusive website and cast your vote to pick one of six
unique weapons on display.
While there, you can drop in on the FANtastic Forums message
boards to join the discussions. Also, don't forget to check
out the newest section of the website FANtastic Features!
In the FANtastic Features section you'll get an insider's
view on how action figures are produced from start to finish
including photos and lots of informative text!

She-Ra:
Princess of Power is coming to DVD!
Navarre's
BCI signs exclusive agreement for DVD distribution of Entertainment
Rights' Filmation catalog
The deal covers 230 hours of programming, including She-Ra:
Princess of Power and other classic Filmation characters
BCI,
a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation, has licensed
the long-term distribution rights in the US and Canada to
programming from Entertainment Rights Plc’s Filmation
portfolio of classic contemporary characters, including the
iconic She-Ra: Princess of Power. This appointment follows
BCI’s recent success as US distributor of ER’s
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, which recently received
the 2005 TV DVD Award for Best 1980’s Series.
“BCI
is thrilled to be bringing these classic animated series to
DVD for the first time in North America,” said Greg
Glass, senior VP, BCI. “With the tremendous success
of the first He-Man titles, we’re confident that our
fan base will be ready for more of these classic animated
characters on DVD.”
“We
are delighted to extend our business with BCI to incorporate
more of the Filmation titles, following the company’s
great success with He-Man on DVD,” said Kathleen Hrick,
executive VP, managing director, USA, Canada and Latin America,
Entertainment Rights. “The Filmation catalog is a valuable
asset, as this latest deal demonstrates, and we will continue
to exploit the huge potential of these much loved brands.”
The
agreement offers BCI distribution rights to animated titles
and characters never before available on DVD, including She-Ra:
Princess of Power; The Legend of Bravestarr; Ghostbusters;
The New Adventures of Zorro; The Lone Ranger; Groovie Goolies;
Snow White Happily Ever After; as well as several live action
series.
Working
alongside ER, BCI will be implementing an innovative marketing
and promotional campaign throughout 2006 and beyond, capitalizing
on the popularity of these classic brands. The program will
follow the successful promotion and marketing of He-Man, which
has been released on DVD and Universal Media Disc (“UMD”)
for Sony “PSP.”
BCI
has once again retained the services of prominent consultants,
Andy Mangels and He-Man.org's James Eatock, Emiliano Santalucia,
Val Staples and Adam Tyner who were highly instrumental in
the production of the He-Man DVD, specifically the added collectible
features.
He-Man.org
will post more information as it becomes available, including
the release plan for the season, release dates and any extra
feature information.

Are
you still having problems finding all the Easter Eggs on the
He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special DVD?
Better yet, did you know there were even any on there?
Well, we have the answer. BCI has provided He-Man.org with
a "how-to" guide on exposing the Easter Eggs on
the DVD.
Snowy
FBI warning (on the Region 1, NTSC
version only)
Insert disc, press play, then hold the UP button. This must
be done
before FBI warning appears.
Dancing Orko & Kowl (You
must expose the Snowy FBI warning before you can expose this
one)
After initial main menu music plays through once, let it play
through a second time.
This will activate an endless loop of this easter egg which
can be stopped by pressing any
button.
In order to initiate this again after visiting another section
of the DVD, let
menu play through once on that section screen as well before
returning to the Main menu
Castle Christmas Lights
Wait for audio to loop on the main menu. When 'PLAY' is highlighted,
press UP
on remote so the star is highlighted. Then press ENTER on
the remote to
activate lights. Repeat the process once more to turn off
the lights.

The
Four Horsemen's FANtastic
toy line gives you the chance to help develop a line of
action figures!
It's very rare we mention any non-MOTU related news.
But with the Four Horsemen's fantastic recreation of the MOTU
line, their continued efforts to help keep MOTU alive with
busts and statues, and with all of their support of He-Man.org
in the past including the donation of one-of-a-kind brozed
busts for auction, we can't let this go unmentioned.
For
those of you who weren't aware of this before, the FANtastic
toy line is a voting process created by the Four Horsemen
where you can pick how the line develops. Round 1 decided which of the figure lines
would be produced. Fans picked a line called 7th Kingdom,
which a lot of us would probably find very MOTU'esque... maybe
we could even slide some of these figures in to battle He-Man
and Skeletor. Round 2 decided which figure from 7th Kingdom
would be created first. This was an Animal Warrior called
The Minotaur. Round 3 decided in what scale the figures
would be cre
