A Horde truck is transporting

A Horde truck is transporting supplies that the rebels need, as well as containing the Horde taxes collected from the villagers. Prince Zed is traveling with Hordak in the convoy, observing Hordak's progress in the march against Etheria on behalf of his father, Horde Prime.

Adora transforms into She-Ra and together with Bow, Glimmer and the Twiggets, the rebels gain control of the truck. She-Ra helps the truck escape into the cover of the Whispering Woods, which blocks Hordak's pursuit.

Back at the Fright Zone, Shadow Weaver concocts a poison from a formula in an ancient spell book; she tells Hordak that this poison is so powerful that even the magical trees of the Whispering Woods will wither and die when they come in contact with it. If they can kill the trees, they will be able to penetrate the Whispering Woods and destroy the rebels.

Madame Razz arrives at the rebel camp to tell Adora that the trees and plants at the outer periphery are dying, leaving the rebel camp vulnerable. Hordak has already set his plan in motion, releasing the poison in the form of a spray, and even Madame Razz's magic cannot counteract it. Madame Razz muses that if she had a sample of the poison, she could reverse engineer it.

Meanwhile, the Twiggets are growing very ill, because they are linked to the Whispering Woods, and as the trees of the wither and die, so do the Twiggets.

The Horde are celebrating their successes at the Fright Zone, as Prince Zed grows restless for action, and uses Hordak's fear of Horde Prime to leverage Hordak into launching an immediate assault.

As the attack begins, Adora becomes She-Ra and helps fight strongly, bringing down Prince Zed's flier in the process. As the Horde retreats, the rebels converge on Prince Zed, angry and seeking revenge. She-Ra urges them not to harm the boy, rising above the level of violence wrought by the Horde in order to tend to his injuries.

As Zed awakens, he begins to see the difference between the cold heartlessness of the Horde, ever so willing to leave the fallen behind, and the Great Rebellion, with its compassion, healing, assistance, and inspiration. Prince Zed agrees to help the Rebellion save the Whispering Woods.

When Hordak learns that Zed was abandoned, he begins to fear that he may face Horde Prime's wrath. Zed leverages that fact to force Hordak to stop poisoning the Whispering Woods, as Madame Razz obtains a sample of the poison and attempts to counter it.

When Zed departs with the Horde, Hordak swings around and prepares to unleash the poison once more. As the poison falls to the ground, the trees and plants begin to heal, brighten, and once again blossom, as Madame Razz was able to reverse engineer the poison into an antidote. Once more, the spirit of the Rebellion blooms within the Whispering Woods.
