I’m not sure any of the issues they’ve had in any wave have been worked out. These issues seem to be the same ones we’ve been dealing with. Brittle plastic, stuck joints, sloppy paint.
I’ll reiterate that I’m still going to buy these with fingers crossed. Though I’m feeling more and more like I’m taking a beating.
I’ll add that as far as QC goes, you can’t control the quality when the quality isn’t there to control.
Got my He-Man/Skeletor 2 pack today. Amazingly, even though there was absolutely no packing material in the mailing box and they were rattling around inside the thing their whole trip up to Canada, my box is almost case fresh.
However, there appears to be something a little wrong with Skeletor.....see if you can spot it.....Attachment 117023

Unfortunately, given Brian's interview with Pixel Dan, he seems to really be underestimating the amount of defects and QC issues from what they are producing. Of course we expect a small percentage to have issues. While it's hard to tell beyond all this anecdotal evidence how many quality issues there are, I really do think it's higher than he thinks. It makes me wonder that if they really try to put these figures through rigorous tests when they get samples in hand. The simple moving of joints should not cause parts to break off so easily. If they are just handling the samples they get with the utmost care and not trying to really move the joints around, essentially trying to break the figures, then they aren't testing these well enough. Add my She-Ra to the list of ones that are locked-in doing the splits. Even after exposing her to the hair dryer, they're fused in into this position. Gee. Does anyone see a pattern here? Super 7 just keeps making more and more items from more and more IP's. Are there any instances of them improving the quality of any of their offerings? They have had these 5.5 figures in production for almost 2 years. And this is the quality we get. Seems similar to everything else they do. Slick production/ packaging with VERY low quality figures that you gamble with every time they are used as intended. And when there seem to be issues, what is to be done about it? Their answer seems to be to just pump out more and more product with more and more IP's to make poor quality toys with instead of becoming competent at making quality toys that a child MIGHT be able to play with gently.
When are all of these license holders going realize that Super 7 will more than likely make merchandise of their property that will not exactly show it in a good light?
Having Super 7 involved with your property obviously does not associate it with "quality". Just "quantity".
Exactly. I'm afraid Super 7 MOTU has been knock off quality since the get go. If Wave 2 of CC and CG and the single-carded Vintage have the same problems as the previous Wave1 of CC and CG and these battle packs, then I think MOTU under Super 7 is doomed. The MOTU fan base is significantly smaller compared to other fandoms, and out of the MOTU fan base as a whole, there are even fewer that still collect. They are going to lose more and more customers from an already small fan base. If these QC issues aren't corrected, even the hardcore collectors among us (myself included) will jump ship. Speaking for myself I had QC issues pretty much only with the latest epic battle packs ( paint missing on skeletor nose and stiff hips) and triklops visor ( which I was able to fix) but it won’t stop me from buying Snake mountain QC issues or not I’m not going to miss out on Snake mountain no way:hmgrin:

I didn't order these packs but did pre-order the single figures, I really hope they have no issues.
Anyone else not receive their items yet or even a shipping confirmation? I havent and have emailed them twice with no response. Like many of us all, I have these 2 packs, Stridor, Wave 2, single carded 5.5, and Laughing Adam all ordered All that money fronted to them so you would think an email response isn’t that much to ask for
