    Hello from Greece.
    My name is Panos.

    I'm new here.
I finally started my He-Man and Skeletonr Calf Tattoos
7 days ago I had my 1 session of He-Man and there will be 1 or 2 more sessions.
As soon as He-Man's left calf is finished Skeletor will conquer the right calf.

That's so awesome! Did you show it to Dave Wilkins? He'd probably be stoked to see his art used as the reference.
Hope to see you at Power-Con, America's Mightiest Toy Convention!

I'd still like to get all the vintage factions down my back. After all, MOTU and POP have been part of my life since I was seven. But I still have that fear of regretting a tattoo later in life. I can't shake it, even though it's a bit silly to think that now that I'm about to turn forty.

At the very least, I'm happy to live vicariously through you all that get them.

When I was a kid, I loved the Alcala design power sword from the mini comics. I would stare at the images in those pages for hours! That was where I had my MotU beginnings. Barbarian, He-Man fighting to keep Skeletor from joining the two halves of the Power Sword. But, then, Filmation came along and my head was turned! I LOVED the cartoon, but even as a kid couldn't understand why the power sword was so different and inconsistently drawn between episodes! Soon She-Ra was on TV and, again, I was confused by how different her cartoon and toy swords were.
Anyways, jump forward a *few* years and the Classics line happened. Not only that, but sites like Shapeways provided talented people with a way to create their own 3D printed accessories. That's when I saw Evil Mike's Alcala inspired Power Sword! I purchased one and LOVED IT! It was exactly what I'd been seeing in my head since childhood. So, naturally She-Ra needed a matching Sword of Protection. For She-Ra I wanted the same sword design as He-Man, but with a gem cavity. I like the 200X She-Ra sword, so I asked Mike to create the Alcala She-Ra sword with a gem cavity in the same position, instead of the traditional, higher up position. As usual, Mike knocked it out of the park and created my perfect idea of what She-Ra's sword should look like.
As for the tattoo, I asked the ever amazing Axel Gimenez to draw it for me.
My gorgeous friend Alicia came with me to get the ink done. Not only because she's experienced in tattooing, but because we attended Power Con in LA together in 2013 and Supanova in Melbourne together to meet Dolph Lundgren. Also, she's the perfect partner in crime.... (And got herself a matching Alcala tat at the same time as me!) Getting the tat done in Melbourne was special because I lived there from 2012 to 2014 and it's my favourite city in the world!
So...a very long winded reason as to why I got the MotU tattoo and the many reasons it's so special to me.

Dolph, the day that we met him and had our tats done:

    This is neat.

I had a friend meet him, and he signed my Masters of the Universe Movie poster - it sits proudly in my cinema room

small details tend to get blurry with age. don't want something like a black bar across skeletor in 20 years.
