Lindsay Lohan as Teela

This is my first try at something like this, so it has a few problems, but overall I'm pretty happy w/how it turned out.

Edit: quit trippin' on the casting choice. That's not the point of the thread. I only picked her because she has red hair, and I found a decent pic of her w/her hair up.

that's so funny - I was thinking that she would be PERFECT for TEELA... and Charlize Theron as the Sorceress...

Hey, that's pretty cool.

The job you did is good, but I don't think she'd do the whole Teela role justice, she's too short.... maybe she'll grow up a bit, but I picture Teela all tall, sleek and sexy, Lindsay Lohan is cute, beautiful eyes and all, but she's kinda more stumpy, nothing like a warrior woman. Still, you did make your point, I've not tried painting over live pictures in a LONG time.

Funny, with all of the "live-action" movie casting of "who do you think should be this character"....Lindsay Lohan was my 1st choice as Teela...your art project confirms my choice...nice job!

While I do enjoy the piece and the idea behind it, I'm going to have to say "no" to the casting... sorry, but if someone should play Teela, I think Jamie King is where it would be at.

Looking at this profile shot I agree that Imbeta also has something here. (By the way I LOVE your Teela fan-art pic where she is leaning)...Jamie King is hot, go look around at some galleries online, you'll see she has it all & would make a great Teela!

I don't know that I'd be able to separate her on-screen performance from her real-life annoyingness.

Although I like the art, I disagree with the casting... I would never take Lohan seriously as Teela. Teela's a warrior. Lohan's a.... a valley girl. Just no. Wrong. The only bonus to her casting is the red hair. That be it.

Sorry, Brad... but I mean the title of the thread IS Lindsay Lohan as Teela... that's probably where we all got off on that idea... we tend to be a literal bunch, I guess?

That's true "Lyndsay Lohan" as Teela is the title, but only because it describes the picture. I guess in the future I'll have to do disclaimers that say that I'm not suggesting anyone for the role

Really I just thought she was a good choice to do a photo manip., because she's very pretty, and has red hair. That was my only criteria.

My vote still goes to Laura Prepon.


I agree with everyone else. Lindsay Lohan is too annoying. But that Teela pic is cool.

That Laura broad is a decent choice, but her voice doesn't really work for me. Are there pictures of her with her hair up?

Laura Prepon would work for me if she ditched that awful blonde hair she whipped out this season on That 70s Show.

Nice work! I think the outfit would blend better if the shading was a bit darker, though. Heck, try playing with the Brightness/Contrast and it might take away some of that 'cartoony' look.

And since everyone else is going off topic...

LINDSAY of LOHAN. I think Lindsay Lohan would be a good TEELA. Mostly because the new TEELA is kind of annoying (still likeable, though) and bit**y (to ADAM), and I think she could pull that off. And yes she's short, but so is new TEELA, although new TEELA doesn't have half the rack that Lohan has! Also her voice is odd (in a cute way); sounds like someone's been strangling her.

I think I would be a great Teela! I am not annoying or fake (what? lohan's boobs aren't real? lol) and I KNOW HOW TO ACT! I'm not some ditz with big boobs whom enjoys prancing around half naked, I respect the roles I am given and I give my all to making the character come alive. I could careless if everyone is drooling at my picture or if they even like me as long as they are convinced that I have become the character and made them believe. So, in my opinion, I think we should be looking outside Hollywood and the plastic barbies, and go for REAL TALENT, and not some bimbo with a nice rack!

(I'm not saying you're ideas aren't valid, everyone has the right to there own opinion, and this is mine. I do think some of the actresses mentioned would be good for the role but I hate lohan, so, yea, lol!)

OK, if you're so great, post a picture of yourself. You do realize that physical description is as important as acting talent in this case right? I'm all for casting an unknown (it's always better that way), but Teela has to look a certain way, and no amount of acting talent will make up for not looking the part.

PS. I hope that didn't sound hostile. I really did mean it in a friendly, non-threatening sort of way

I agree that the actress has to look a certain way [although, some of the casting calls on other comic book/cartoon characters are not perfect in any way, lol] for the part to work, lol. But, I would also be nice if that person knew what they were doing not just say hey look at me! I look like this person but I have no idea who they are; I just saw him/her a week before the movie was finished, lol. And, while I wish I did, I don't have a scanner or a digital camera, and I am not aware of any online pictures of myself, though I wish I had some to share with you, sorry. (and, I know it's not an attack on me personally, it's ok, lol. )

lol, I'm soooo totally not jealous of ppl with a large chest, I don't want one cuz running would hurt a lot, lol. But, LL's chest IS fake. Someone I know was working on the set of one of her movies and one day she came in complaining about how much pain her chest was in and her boobs were incredibly larger than the days before. While not all actresses have the job done, more and more are finding it increasingly more difficult to stay away from the knife because the need to look younger or flawless or whatever. Plus, with the money they have, they are more likely to do it than most ppl. Anywho, like I said, everyone is entitled to there opinions, and I'm glad you have taken the time to express yours!
