My, how the landscape has changed since this post was started im '05...... I ccast my vote today for the 2Ks..... with the advent of MOTUC, we're able to take the magic and nostalgia from the 80's and update it with the wonders of modern sculpting/tooling.
As my screen name suggests, my love for the property is rooted i nthe glorios 80's but I am thankful for the 200X series and even moreso for the Classics line.

If I had 100 points to distribute between the three eras, I would give 81 to the '80s, 14 to the 2000s and 5 to the '90s.

For me, easily the 80s. MotU was cool and groundbreaking. =)
It has to be the 1980's for me, you can't beat the 80's.
I voted the 1980's, but quantify that by saying: the mini-comics, all the way to the New Adventures minicomics!
AUDACIEUX ET TENACE
I voted the 2000's. If it weren't for the fact I caught a few episodes when it was first coming out I would never have gotten into Masters over there past few months.
I voted 2000s. The Classics line and the Org itself have been the main reasons I have enjoyed the property so much. The fact that the current, MOTUC version encompasses all previous iterations is a big part of it too.![]()

80s all the Way! However New Adventures holds a special place in my heart, and to be honest it only started 9 months into 1990 so some of that 80s vibe was still present.
"I was born in the 70s, and I'm a child of the 80s."
My choice would certainly be the 1980s.![]()

2000s... We have access to everything MOTU related, old and new!
Tweeterhead 1/5 Legends Statue Want List: Zodak (200X style), King Grayskull (Revelation style), He-Man 2.0, Tung Lashor, Rattlor, She-Ra 2.0, Sorceress, Beast Man, Trap-Jaw, Kobra Khan
I can't really pick a single answer.
The 80's were great, because I was a fresh faced, non-cynical child. I discovered this awesome, Fantasy based toy line filled with bizarre, musclebound, larger than life characters armed with melee weapons. The beautiful artwork on the boxes took me to another world!
But the 2000's are also great because of MOTU Classics, which is my favorite line. On top of that, the 2000's offered 200x, and even more MOTU merch than the 80s ever did. Not to mention that the 2000's has the internet, you get to chat with loads of other MOTU fans, and you have instant access to ALL classic box art, bios, and all the MOTU info you could ever want!

Odd Man Out
I know there are probably others like me but when I was a kid, in my mind MOTU was it. I liked transformers, enjoyed G.I. Joe, and had interest in almost every other comic and toy line. But He-man was IT.
Every new figure I got, every vehicle, they were going to spark hours and hours of play time. For some reason MOTU was just extra magical to me.

I have great memories in the 1980's, grew up in '85.
